What is this RPG? Is it a forum RPG, is it on a site? Or are you just talking about Final Fantasy XI?
 
Some playable forum RPG, I think. I don't play, so someone else will have to explain in more detail.
 
It's a forum RPG, RPG Inferno. All it really is, is an assortment of a shitload of menus. It doesn't sound too appealing at first, but it can get addicting. :monster:
 
Don't worry, I was just as confuzzled by this RPG thing when I was more of a newb.

Top left hand corner. Not that I play it.

You have to amass 51 posts and wait about an hour once you have 51 posts until you can access it. Sounds like something that could all be done in a day.

But it's not like FFF is the only forum that has RPG Inferno. You could always check out another forum that doesn't require post count to use it.

But how do I get 'points'? And where do I see how many points I've got?
 
Points...? We don't use points system here. Or do you mean "posts"? If so, you can check the left panel under your username. (Or check your profile). Currently, you now have 3 posts. Keep in mind that some forum gives you post counts, while some do not.

Summary:
The RPG Realm is the main HQ for discussing about the link based system known as the RPG Inferno, which is made by Inferno Technologies. The game consist on an environment created based on the owners' or the RPG Moderators' criteria on the selected storyline, either FF Based or original. Ours is original, though it includes elements from other games such as Final Fantasy Series, Kingdom Hearts Series, etc. As a requirement decided and implemented by the staff, an user requires a minimum of 50 posts for his/her account to obtain the permissions to use this feature. In the current RPG Inferno, you can craft and wield all sorts of items, enchant weapons and other equipment, cast and learn new spells, use a pet (summon) as a partner, Trade, and battle monsters and other players. This elements are added as your progress through the game.

I guess that's the basic summary. If you wish to obtain more information, the RPG Moderating Team has created several guide threads for the benefit of new users, left around the whole RPG Realm forum. You can also ask other members for guidance and advice. By the way, don't forget to read the rules of the RPG Inferno and the RPG Realm forum.
