And also when he uses the "Tree of Sephira" move. That attack is really good. 
Yea, I have to admit, Vayne Carudas Solidor is a pretty good character.
The Tree of Sephira is when Vayne becomes a tank with arms. He then jumps high in the air while the other swords merge into a more powerful huge sword then he graves the weapon and pierces the center of the arena with it. Between cutscenes you can hear Vayne speaking of ....well right now I don't remember XD

strategy for vayne:
bravery and faith on all
dispel vayne
berserk your non magic user
keep healer in back
have a black mage (if any) use strong attacks like the final black magic (cant remember name)
and vayne is pwned
(i was level 61 when i first faced him but i did hunts a lot

Vaan: Deathbringer (it looked cool so that's why I kept the sword)

Baltheir: A very strong gun whose name I can't remember at the moment.
The battle was really easy so it didn't matter which weapon I used XD

if you did you could swipe ragnarok
if anyone wants to know you get it as a reward for slaying ixion i think
and zodiac spear is in necrohol of nabudis in a secret room and is cool because it is the strongest spear in the game

And i completed the game 100% with every weapon and nearly every item.
You can get the zodiac spear another way (the way i got it)
Although i prefer the masamune, excalibur and tournesol as my weapons

i dont know where/how to get excalibur and tournesol and i cant remember the other way to get zodiac spear and genji armor is bloody hard so i might do another save file to get them
