Hi everyone,

I signed up to ask for some information from you guys. Years ago I bought "Final Fantasy Unlimited - The Perfect Collection" it was in a beautiful dvd case with awesome arwork on it and the disks, it had the extras, all 25 episodes etc. I thought it would be awesome and it didn't disappoint.

Anyway recently I was digging through some stuff and found it in my cupboard. I looked around online to see how much it was selling for and nowhere has a copy going at all! There was 1 dodgy looking site that claimed to have a copy that it would send within 2 months if you paid now etc, the kind of place that tells ya it has suikoden for £20 etc - so I figured that was wrong.

Does anyone know anything about "The Perfect Collection" all I can find is the ultimate collection, which was made first and apparently isn't as good as this collection. I stuck it on ebay and it seems to have gained a decent level of interest as someone has bid on it on the first day (I started the bid at £30 to make sure I at least got a decent amount for what I merely assumed was a cartoon boxset) I've added a "Buy it now" price on the auction, but now I am fretting in the back of my mind that it could be worth something and I'm just selling it off without thinking it through, I don't really want to be greedy, in fact I'd rather someone who really wanted it owned it, but of course everyone has bills so if it was worth x amount I'd rather be getting near that instead of far away etc.

I'm probably fretting over nothing. £30 might be the right price and this dude might be bidding that happy in the knowledge that he is getting it for the right price, but I had to check.

Sorry for the long post, hope you can help!

I never heard of it but imo you should keep it ..

Honestly, I believe our community is made up of users who are more focused towards the games than any of the Final Fantasy films or animations.

I think this is probably the first time in years someone has uttered a word about Final Fantasy Unlimited.

I would probably say in the regions of £30-£50 would be a good price. It might be WORTH more than that, but because it's worth more doesn't mean people will pay that. Take HMV and other such stores, you'll see collections worth "£100+" but because people won't pay that they're reduced to almost half that price if not less.

I'd keep your mind of what the RRP may have been back in the day and more focused on what people will be able to afford. For 25 episodes of an anime, I'd imagine £30 would be a decent price.

Awesome guys, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Sorry I had to almost beg you to reply haha, but yeah im happy if thats the case. What would of worried me is if you guys had said it was notoriously worth something like Suikoden etc then I'd of felt a bit disappointed.

Think it cost me about £20 so £30 almost 10 years on is awesome and far better than most dvd box sets fetch!!

It sells on amzon for 29.99 Here/used product. But ive also found the seperate DVD's packaged at 60$ Here
You need to hunt better ...google is normally good for that^^ If you look a bit im sure you will find other price ranges for what you desire.
Besides it wasnt a very thrilling show,as I wached it,Most young kids would enjoy it probably but older people probably not so much since after a few episodes I realy couldnt wach it anymore and not as enjoyable to me.

hmmmmmm

Never seen Final Fantasy: Unlimited.

I wish i had. I always hear good things about the series, but i can't seem to find the damn series anywhere i look. I would look on Ebay but i am afraid to find out how much i would have to pay out of my pocket for the damn thing.

Anyway, in regards to your Perfect Collection question, i would have to say that your best bet is to use Ebay. (there are people there who will buy anything.)

Also, if you wanna sell it, be absolutely sure that you want to. Because chances are you probably wont see the "Perfect Collection" again anytime soon.

best of luck.:neomon:

I would hold on to it. Might be a Collector's Item one day. Especially if you can't even find it now. I would check in again in a few years just. If they don't do a New Release of it then you may have something valuable.

I lucked out big style really. The heighest bidder wound up being the guy who bid £30, BUT he lived in Norway - for some reason the default "outside of the UK" postage on my ebay account is £25 so the guy paid me £55 including postage. When I went to the post office the next day the cost to post it to Norway was.....£2! So thats £23 extra made out of it by the sheer fact that this guy saw what it would cost him and bid accordingly. I was quite suprised and am quite happy with that. Could be worth more, he seemed eager to get it, but if it is then good luck to him! I'm really pleased with the outcome.

Cheers for your help guys:highfive:
