The Last.fm Thread

ANyone here use Last.fm?

I've only started using it since yesterday and I think it's still updating all my tracks to charts. It's a pretty damn amazing website I think, such a great idea!

Share your usernames & profile pages here an make friends on it, someone could even make a Final Fantasy Forum group for the guys here so you can get a decent view of what music every likes in charts etc.

Mines pretty empty atm, but I'll post it anyway.

When I signed up it automatically finds how many songs I've played on iTunes I think. lol.

Yeah . I used to be scared of Last.fm and thought it would be a hassle.. Really all you do is download the program, then listen away to whatever music you like, and it records what you listen to.

It's awesome, in a way, to compare yourself with other people, and stuff.

Good for finding new bands etc too, as you can play it as a radio if you want, and it plays songs that are similar in style and genre to songs in your library, so to find you new stuff that you may like. Brilliant.

It's one of my favourite sites ever. I've found countless ammount of bands there that I'd never of heard of today. It's perfect.

There is a Last.fm thread in the Music Studio board. However nowhere near enough people seem to use it, or even know what Last.fm is... So the thread sort of died.

It's a shame people don't use it from here as I'd rather like to compare musical tastes with people.

I joined but I don't use it too often. Unfortunately, the music I used to listen to still far overshadows the music I listen to now. It's where I heard of Scale the Summit though, so I love it.
