The Club of Memories

I Pool'd again.

Also, I hate female friends who tell you allllllll about their sex lives. It makes it harder to have a soft spot for them when you know what's going where and how often. <_<
Will we be reciprocating our manly talks?

See, even when I mean it in the opposite way it comes out gay. ><

Just 'manly talk' in general sounds awfully gay... did you make waffles in the morning? :wacky:

I don't trust everything on Wikis, so I looked it up on Mirriam-Webster's site, they said it's the British variant of generaliZation. I retract my laff at you for spelling it that way, then :neomon:

Subcutaneous fat actually has health and metabolic benefits up to a certain point.
Aren't you just talking about normal body fat that's there anyway? I mean I could make the same comparison to E. coli, it's good when kept in the large intestine and in appropriate amounts, but outside that area you're fucked.

Before the 20th century, "chubby" figures were almost universally considered the mainstream ideal.
Really? Might I suggest you look up fashions and trends from before and educate yourself? Matter of fact, I recommend this page. AND I will also remind you of a little thing called the corset, which started in the 1500's and have pretty much been around since then. This page has a nice little history on them.

So as you can clearly see, the ideals of thin women showing a nice figure have been around for a long time. Sure, people didn't use to be quite so particular about women having a little bit of chub (read: a few pounds, not flappy guts and thighs) on them, but for the most part whales haven't been in style.

The mainstream "ideal" feminine body shape and size shifted up and down. And, I guarantee you, it will change again.
I highly doubt it will change, unless the world is overtaken by famine.

Just to let everyone know, the extra not-needed threads have been moved into the thread they should have been posted in in the first place. We discussed this once before. Please refrain from making so many threads in the Spam Section. Please keep any threads as such in this thread only. Anymore threads seen like that will be automatically merged with this one. Thank you.

You guys can post in the spam section, that's fine, but we asked you to please stop posting the threads that only pertain to you and your buddies. You guys are obviously the only ones who post in them since they're all things you do together that nobody else is involved in. Especially threads just to each other such as the ones titled Dave! or Mr. Pooley. Those are threads that are only just discussing things amongst each other that nobody else is even going to be able to discuss with you. Those types of the threads and discussions need to remain in here. That's all we ask.

Hahah, they're only two threads, though. Given what we spoke about, that part's fair enough ... but the rest of them were just normal threads. We can't force others to join in and we're most certainly not ignoring anyone. :wacky:

If anyone does feel that we ARE ignoring you, though, just tell us and we can make sure you're included. :gasp: I know you asked to be anonymous but we could sort the problem more efficiently if we knew who we were affecting. :wacky:

No, you guys always have an orgy in every spam thread created, then proceed to ignore others' posts and then it just gets difficult to keep up because two conversations are going on, then people eventually give up and let the Euro-clique get on with it.

You're the least of it though. It's mostly Bam, Pools and Princess A.

That's enough you guys. Please just stop the arguing. I really don't want to have to start deleting posts and infracting people.

Virgil. =O

You said a wee while ago that it was such a rare name. I've seen it twice today. Once on the credits for an episode of Looney Tunes. Another in the credits for Whose Line is it Anyway?

You're not alone boyo :gasp:

Okay...I need a little clarification to that...

It's Saix you're talking to, right, Riku?

...I don't know why he would have said that, it really isn't a rare name. I've heard of tons of Virgils, they're not THAT uncommon.

And neither myself nor Dave are allowed to release that kind of information, Mikomi, unless the Virgil in question gives us permission ;)

Dammit Dave. Please keep threads like this in the Club of Memories -_- we already asked this once before.
