The 'Best FF Game' Thread

For me VII first and I can't see that changing due to the fact that it was so far ahead of anything else in its day.

Surprisingly, I would go for IX next because it was altogether lighter in feel than the others (and I loved Vivi).

VIII is my third choice, I loved the 'feel' of the word and got addicted to Triple Triad.

X is a distant fourth. I still loved the game but I wasn't very keen on Spira as a game world and none of the characters absorbed me as much as the earlier titles (Auron being the exception).
 
In my heart, I am torn betwixt three titles... Whether to choose IV over the immensely underrated VIII and IX, to choose the Underrated VIII over the (also) underrated IX and the classic IV, or to choose IX over VIII and IV... Hard decision... I SHALL NOT CHOOSE, FOR I LUFFLES THEM ALL IN EQUAL MAGNITUDE!

I have yet to play III or XII, and XI doesn't count because it's online and doesn't work on my comp >.<
 
Final Fantasy VII

Im not sure on XII or X yet in which order they would go.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't had the privledge of completing FFVI, but I absoltultey loved the faction that I played. :)

I haven't played the games before FFVII yet and I am currently playing FFXII.
 
Best Final Fantasy Game huh? I'll give it to Final Fantasy Tactics, the
storyline was incredible as well as the plot twists that went right along
with it. Characters were quite impressive. It actually felt as if I was
in the game. Probally the best FF game in existance in my opinion.
 
i think final 10 cuz the story works. tidus arrives in a new world and has no clue as to what is goin on and its the same for the person playing it. also the love story is played out perfectly with tidus and yuna falling for eachother. Then tidus finding out she will have to sacrafice herself, then they find a way to save yuna but tidus ends up dissapearing. Well thats my opinion.
 
For me it's FFVIII, just edging out FFIX. I remember just falling in love with FFVIII as soon as I saw the opening sequence. And the elements of the game all just fall into place for me - great characters, nice moments of humour (Laguna, Zell vs Seifer, Fuujin and Raijin etc), a good plotline where you have to untangle some of the plot points after for yourself. And it's all topped off by the music and my favourite FF ending of all.

FFIX has a lot of these things and all, and was my first FF game, but I prefer FFVIII a little more.
 
FFX. First FF game ever played and it (And the Aeons!) won my heart.
2.FFI. So addicted to right now. :P
3.Tactics Advanced. I love being able to take FF with me. I like all the missions to, and I love the Totemas.
 
Definitely FFVII. My first FF and I fell completely in love with it.
