VALAIS MILITARY BASE
VALAIS MOUNTAINS
NORTHEASTERN USTIO
APRIL 2, 695 SRC
1100 HOURS

7 days ago, Belka invaded it's neighbors. Their conquests were successful due to the efforts of the legendary Belkan Air Force, as well as that of the feared Belkan Army. Ustio was one of the territories invaded, having been pushed back to the mountain ranges. Because of this, the occupied Ustio gov't military, tries to get assistance from Osea, it's allies, and the several mercenaries under it's employ. In order to do so, they must first end the Belkan invasion at Valais Military Base......

The Belkan forces started to push Ustian troops towards the airfields. If the Belkans control those, then no one could stop Belka from taking Ustio. A single Chinook helicopter landed behind enemy lines at the base. From the chopper came a man in white armor, with sword drawn and gun in hand, this man said, "My name is John, I have come to finish the fight!!!" He charges towards two Belkan soldiers, slashing one of them and using him as cover while the mercenary shoots the other soldier with his MP5 SMG. John radio tuned to the frequency of the bae commander, who knew he was there. John said through the radio, "It's starting to come down!!" the commander said, "Glad to see that you're here John. We've got a situation on our hands." An grenade exploded near John's position, "So i've noticed, I hope you have our pay ready." The commander responded, "That's if we both make it through this alive." "Be ready to pay up, I'll be done before you know it." John put the radio on his belt, picked up a Belkan soldiers Knife, and threw it at a Belkan soldier. "Let's begin."

FINALLY, It started! You literally ripped John off Halo right? The Master Chief's apparent name is John too. Hope you don't mind me joining you as mercenary

"Let's begin" John said.

Gabriel didn't bother to aim. By pure instincts, he successfully shot the mass of Belkan soldiers that came. Jumping of the chopper, he slashed the soldiers that came close.

This was ironic. Gabriel was apparently a Belkan, judging from his location where he found himself, stricken with amnesia. The only things he remembered was his ability with the sword and gun, which have saved him countless of times.

Now, he fights for the Ustians.. Against the Belkans, who may all be his brothers.. Not that he bothered anyway. He didn't have any family to speak off (Or remember.). A grenade exploded beside him, sending him flying off.

But he managed an acrobatic flip, in time to land on his feet, and with enough momentum to stab his blade into an unlucky Belkan soldier. Regaining his composure, he fired more shots at more incoming soldiers, all these while keeping a straight, serious face.

OOC: Heh, now that I think out it, I did, though not intentionally, and sure

IC: John continued to fire at Belkan forces, even taking a Belkan gun to use as a weapon. The Ustian mercenary then charged towards a hanger, slashing and shooting any Belkan in the way. John then cleared the hanger and brought out a Gepard Self-Propelled AA Gun, which he used to shoot at enemy positions and forced a few units to retreat and regroup.

The onslaught of bullets were devastating. Gabriel added in his own volley of gun fires, downing some unlucky soldiers. Noticing another mass coming by the side, he turned to face them.

"Trying to flank us...?" He muttered to himself as he dashed forward rashly.

They immediately retaliated with gun fires, but Gabriel deflected the shots with his blade. This was one of his strongest ability, to be able to deflect live ammunition this easily, it made him almost invulnerable to frontal assault.

With that, he made it close enough to the group, and unleashed several slashes that brought the soldiers all down, dead. Looking at the mass still fighting back, he decided to flank them. "Its my turn." He mutters as he attacked them from the side with non-stop shooting from his pistol, reloading quickly when he needed to.

The whumping of the chopper blades was deafening, even through Hera's helmet. The light coming through the open payload doors reflected off her golden armour. She shifted her leg and crossed it over her other, the metallic bangles at the bottom of the dress gave a slight chingle. On her lag, Hera held her WA2000, tapping her index finger on the wooden body, adjusting its scope. 120 seconds to combat zone! Get ready! Hera wrapped her fingers around the moulded grip and pulled the cocking handle. A nice, resounding clack could be heard over the din of the black hawk and the rustle of other soldiers. 20 seconds! Good luck soldiers! The chain gun whined for a split second before it spat out bullets down at the Belkan forces.

The Black Hawk swooped down, partially protected by several abandoned vehicles. 8 soldiers piled out and headed for the hangar where most of the action was taking place. Hera, however, stayed on. The Hawk was to take her to a higher vantage point, away from too much ground fire. Unfortunately, a small group of Belkans had been trying to flank the hangar and the recently deployed tropps caught a barrage of bullets in the back. Of the 8 that dropped, only 4 had survived. With the remaining tropps falling back into cover, the Belkans turned their attention towards the Hawk. A hail of lead battered the craft as it tried to rise from the parking lot. The gunner caught a bullet in the shoulder and collapsed in his seat. To make matter worse, Stray rounds penetrated the left turbine. Smoke poured from the hole as the Hawk swayed into the open, still not more thyan three metres off the ground. Even more ground fire hit the Hawk. Sh!t! We are pulling out, Sargeant Major! As the helicopter began climbing, her stood up and bounded out of the craft. The four metre drop was nothing. However, a sniper in the open was not good. Rifle still in hand, Hera ran towards the Hangar, bullets bouncing off the ground around her. A bullet hit her right shoulder pauldron and knocked her forward. Luckily, she was knocked into the hangar and was hauled behind cover by one of the four remaining soldiers. She spotted two fighting men still firing. As the ranking soldier after the lieutenant got hit, Hera pulled the MP7 out and ran up to the man in the AA gun and jumped on top of the undercarriage. Hey, we are from the Osean army. she shouted over the constant thumping of the gun. Our group is the forward party. The rest should be here soon.

"Alright," John said, still firing the 35mm autocannon at the Belkans, "Our objective is to prevent Belka from capturing this base." He gave a picture of two guys to Hera. "Our main objective is to take those 2 guys out. The guy on the left is the commanding officer for all major operations in Ustio, his name is Colonel Rudi Keitz. The guy on the right is his lieutenant, Felix Boesch. You got that?"

"Got it, over." Gabriel muttered softly as he dashed off in search for either of the two. No doubt, this was a rash move, but he was known to be a lone wolf in these situations, charging at the enemy all by himself.

As he ran, he couldn't help noticing the Hawk and its trail of black smoke. Gabriel ignored it, but another figure caught his eye. It was a girl clad in golden armour. From her choice of weapon, the MP7, Gabriel concluded she was a sniper.

"Weird, a sniper dressed so conspiciously? I best draw attention away from her." Gabriel said to himself, in an inaudible voice.

Running a different direction now, he shot at random, downing some, and missing the others. This attracted attention as he had wanted to. Deflecting the bullets, he charged and cut down his attackers. As he did so, more soldiers came out to attempt at surrounding him.

Charging forward, he managed to break out of the encirclement. "Too many!" Gabriel shouts to himself as he continued deflecting the bullets, and shooting when the soldiers were reloading.

With a nod of acknowledgment, Hera leapt off the undercarriage and sprinted back to the squad. Okay. You four remain here and assist the merc on the AA gun. I am going out to eliminate the enemy command. While i am gone, you are under the command of that mercenary. Hera glanced at the squad. All were privates with minimal experiences. She herself could not talk as this was her second combat. The first was against roadside bandits. Holstering the MP7 PDW, she took out the WA2000 rifle and exited the building by the side door and into the surrounding bushland.

Despite the flashy armour, Hera was in her element. So good in the role of a sniper, Hera had minimal handicap with her armour, being still able to hide and traverse efficiently. As the girl rounded near the back of the advancing Belkan force, Hera spotted a lone Mercenary breaking from an encirclement of Belkan grunts, but still hot on his tail.
Stopping on the spot, Hera got to her knee, pulled the Schmidt and Bender scope to her eye and held her breath. Three shots rang out and three soldiers dropped on the spot. Like most snipers, Hera displaced immediately and moved to another location, this one much closer to the fleeing Mercenary, in line with the direction he was running at. From here, the trailing Belkan was all in her view, free to pick off.

"Alright," John said to 4 Osean soldiers as he came out of the AA Gun, "You guys are with me. Stay sharp, as we have to clear the base of any Belkan troops in the area." John turned towards the enemy, "Draw your swords, and CHARGE!!!!!" The soldiers charged towards the Belkans and cut them down. One of the Belkan soldiers knocked down one of the Privates and John hacked and slashed at him. Eventually, he came across Colonel Keitz. "Men, take him down, he is responsible for the atrocities caused here." "Yes sir." was the response from one of the Osean soldiers.

"Thank goodness the sniper did help me in time." Gabriel muttered to himself. Turning back at the soldiers on my tail, I deflected the bullets that came at me. Shooting when there was a chance, I brought down about 5 soldiers.

Rushing up, i cut down the remaining of the troops following me.

"Shouldn't stick together too much.. Idiots" Gabriel mumbled.

Looking around, he caught sight of Felix Boesch. Running over, he stopped as he saw Colonel Keitz being attacked by John and several other troops on his side. Joining them, he attacked Keitz from behind.

Rudi Keitz dodged Gabriel's attack and drew out his sword. By then, the Osean soldiers put there attention to the Colonel's bodyguards, leaving John to face him, "Gabe, let's take him together. Rudi then jumped towards them and started the fight, trying to cut them down, but John countered with a Fire spell knocking him back. "Personally, I see you as a murderer of my countrymen's lives, but I'm only in this for the money." Rudi draws out his Walthier P38 and said, "Die, Mercenary!!!"

Whilst everyone else went for the big head, Hera stalked after Felix Boesch. Best to completely eliminate all chain of command. Still running in the edge of the field, Hera weaved between trees as the Lieutenant tried to rally a squad of Belkans to go and assist their CO. There were 7 of them, including the officer and she still had three bullets in the magazine of her rifle. One shot, one kill...she whispered as she shot three bullets. The first just missed the officer as he bent over to retrieve a rifle. The unfortunate soldier behind him copped the round in his chest. The other two fell on the spot. The remaining three privates began spraying the general area Hera hid in, bracketing her in. She concluded that the only way out was forward into CQC.

Slipping the WA2000 into the harness, Hera charged forward, spraying bullets from the MP7, more so to keep them down than to kill them. As she emerged from the bush, she tossed the hardy gun into the face of the closest soldier with a resounding crack. Following the momentum, Hera pulled out First Tsurugi and slashed down at the second grunt. The third managed to pull his saber out before the giant broadsword crushed through the flimsy blade. As hera swung the blade at her target, the lieutenant stopped it with his falchion. Her momentum had died after downing the two soldiers and Hera was now locked in with Boesch. Aw crap. she muttered, laying a hand on the spine of the sword and began pushing against the lieutenant.

OOC: Since the show must go on.....

Rudi Keitz fired his P38, but was deflected by John's sword. John then picked up a dead Ustian soldier's .38 Webley Revolver and shot the Colonel in the head, killing him. The panicked belkan soldiers, after seeing their commander dead, decided to retreat. "Galm to Control, the commander is dead, they are starting to pull out. Permission to eliminate the lieutenant?" The base commander said, "Do it." John then turned towards the Osean sniper who was dueling with Boesch. "Though it's interfering with my money," He thought, "I'll let her take him out."

Gabriel didn't bother less though. He wanted to ensure he was worth paying, dashing towards the Lieutenant brazenly, he kicked the lieutenant off, bringing him to the ground. The sniper went up, shooting at him, but he managed to get on his feet in time to run off from the shots.

Gabriel ran off again, shooting his legs while he ran. The sniper followed too, but was aiming for the kill. The lucky lieutenant managed to dodge them all somehow, but ran out of luck when he knocked into John.

Falling back, Hera overtook Gabriel quickly and stabbed the First Tsurugi into the poor man's head. Gabriel sighed as he saw his kill get stolen...

Not bad huh? The kill's yours, Tipsynaruto.

OOC: Woah, major god modding

As the sword flew out of her hand and embedded itself into the lieutenants head, Hera slowed down and took time reloading her rifle. Slipping it back into the harness, Hera walked slowly towards the body, planted her boot on the body and yanked the sword free. Blood had stained the sword. With a quick swish, the blood flew off the blade, splattering the ground. Sound off soldiers. Li, reporting in. Perconti, reporting in. Takahemi, reporting in. Roberts, injured but fine. Hera was glad that there were no more casualties. Several more straggling Belkans were running away, but shooting fleeing soldiers were cowardly. Okay. With this done, we need to report back to command. Turning on the spot, Hera regrouped with the soldiers and the two mercenary. Sargent Major Mitsuokumi, our Black Hawk is severely damaged. Imminent pick up is not possible. Stand by for orders. Hera stood still for several seconds. Sargeant, do you copy? Affirmative, Hocus. Standing by. Clicking off the comm, she turned to the mercenary that was on the AA gun. We cannot extract for a while. Is there anything you have in mind?

OOC: For the record TN, I'm not on the AA Gun anymore. and Eighth,

IC: "The Belkans are now in full retreat," John said, "they shouldn't be attacking anyone." The base commander, who left the control tower after the Belkans started to retreat said, "Not likely, Apparently, if they didn't take the base, they were going to destroy it. Belkan bomber airships are en route to the base. ETA 30 minutes." "Any AA defenses?" the commander sighed, then said, "all AA Guns were destroyed. We need fighter pilots and I hope...." John replied, "Gabe, you and the Osean Allies should remain on base. I'll see if I can take out the bombers."

OOC: Sorry, Tipsynaruto, as mentioned in Anime Union RP, I didn't realize what God-Modding really means until now, please forgive me for this mistake.

Gabriel sighed. Staying inactive wasn't his favourite move, but he obeyed anyway. Keeping his weapons, he looked around the base, which was littered with bodies. People were now clearing away the bodies on the base.

However, Gabriel managed to eavesdrop on John enough to catch the estimated time of attack on the base. Sighing quietly, he wondered if his pay would be possible. "Gabe, you and the Osean Allies should remain on base. I'll see if i can take out the bombers." John said to him.

Gabriel didn't pay much attention to it, but accepted it anyway as he walked towards the Osean allies.

Since extraction was not possible, the only thing left to do was to sit tight and wait. Gabe, you and the Osean Allies should remain on base. I'll see if I can take out the bombers Hera gave him a sceptical look. They were going to bomb th base. She did not think one fighter could hold off a whol flight of bombers, but he was in charge. Shrugging her shoulders Hera turned to brief the men. Okay. Air support is unavailable for the moment, so we have to stay here. In 30 minutes, the Belkan forces are going to comence aerial bombardment. Our job is to sit through it and make sure that the base is held in case of another land assault. Perconti took a sharp inhale at the order of sitting in the base during the bombardment. Sargeant Major, i don't think thats a good idea. We could get obliterated. Isn't it better to retreat to the forest until the bombardment is over, then come back in? The girl in the silver armour was barely older than Hera. Orders are orders, Perconti. During this time, we should fortify the area we are going to hide in rather than complain. Hera heard footsteps and turned to see the other mercenary. Are you not going with your friend? Hera extended her arm in a handshake. Sargeant Major Hera Mitsuikumi of the 1st Osean Army. I am the ranking soldier here after our lieutenant got hit.

OOC: I think I remembered saying that Valais was around some mountains

John looked through some of the facilities, hoping to locate a fighter plane, finally he found an old F-15C that was in an underground bunker. John climbed into the cockpit and taxied the old airship to the runway. "Galm 1, you are cleared for takeoff." The air traffic controller said through his radio. As John took off, the base commander radioed in, "A few UAF aircraft are heading to the Valais mountains. They are coming back from patrol, they will be there to assist."

BGM:Ace Combat Zero-Glacial Skies

As the aircraft flew over the mountains, he found 2 squads of fighters, along with the AWACS Unit Eagle Eye, they have the same arrow emblem as the aircraft that John was flying. The mercenary said, "This is 1st Lieutenant John Hunter, callsign, Cipher. Come on, we need to intercept those bombers before they destroy our airbase." The lone F-15 joined with the F-4's and F-5's of the remaining Ustio Air Forces.
