Who else has been watching this? its showing on Virgin1 here in the UK now and last night was the second episode.

I don't know what to think of it. It's interesting to watch (and the female Terminator is hawt:wacky:) but it's contradicting a lot from the films. And the bad Terminator still being active despite it's head being completely separated from it's body is just lame.

Still early days yet, let's give it a couple more weeks.
 
I had no idea this even existed. I will probably give it a miss if it's raping the plot. Come to think of it, Im not even sure I even have that channel...

I guess I could give it a quick look over if I have it, altho I will no doubt never watch it again
 
It's basically ignoring the fact T3 ever happened, the day of Judgment Day has changed again as its now set in 2007, and its saying John was 13 instead of 10 during T2. Oh and apparently Sarah died of Cancer instead of the after mentioned Leukemia (I know its essentially the same but bah).

What really annoys me is how they have 4 breaks within it's hour slot. Some parts just aren't worth watching, ended up finishing FFV during all the breaks! >_<
 
Lol, I don't mind ignoring T3 tbh, it was ok but meh, it just wasn't needed...

I hate adverts, they annoy me, I always end up changing channel and forgetting what I was watching
 
Though T3 was shit, the plot was had potential and I thought it closed the series well. What failed it was the fact it just wasn't violent enough. A Terminator film with a 12 rating does not work!>_< and making the T-X essentially a hybrid of the previous two bad mofo's was OTT especially if she wasn't allowed to be too violent in fear of nudging that rating to a 15 lol. I would have just settled with an improved version of Arnie's model or the 'Infiltrator' model's seen in the novels.
 
It was defo missing the viloence, I wasn't scared in T3 :monster:
The first 2 shit me right up, altho I was alot younger when I watched those. But still, they had a much more darker feel & they were epic. T1 was done on a budget of 50p yet is shits all over T3
 
The first two shit me up so much that me and my friend who was equally obsessed with the films decided to build a shelter in the woods to hide in for when August 29th 1997 came around in real life! We spent the entire 'Judgment Day' hiding and it annoyed my Dad because it happened to be his birthday.:wacky:

That bit was epic :wacky: They don't make films like they used to do, I rather enjoyed being scared out of my wits and now they are all just laughable <_<
 
I was told the time line was messed up. I still havent viewed it and my boyfriend only likes it cause Summer from Firefly is the Terminator and he loves her :/
 
Yeah in the second episode they find a time travel device which sends them forward to 2007, completely by-passing the events of T3. >_<
 
That is quite possibly the shittest thing ever, even I could have come up with better than that. Like er.... T3 was just a dream, and no one shot JR really....oh wait thats been done......
 
Apparently the Resistance sent back engineers to build it or some crap, I was too busy shouting at the telly how shit the plot is by this time so couldn't quite catch the dialog properly.
 
ha ha ha...Im guessing the ratings for this are gunna be piss oor and it will go down the pan. Never be to spoken of again. This thread will have to be deleted so we can deny it's very existence o_o
 
I think it's interesting to watch myself, but I just don't see enough action in the past few episodes. It's all: "Let's sit around and wait for the Skynet to be made." And then comes: "Crap! It's her that's made it! BLAST HER TO PIECES!"

I'll watch the last two episodes for the sake of it, but it better be good. Plus, Thomas Dekker looks hawt. Only realised it was him because he was in Heroes.
 
I kinda liked the series as well. Yeah the plot did have issues but I've been a Terminator fan for a long time so I forgive the dribble and watch anyway.

But they better not screw up the ending. oooo I would be so pissed.
 
Just watched the latest episode. It was better than last week's, I'll admit that. The whole thing with Cameron had me on the edge of my seat to be quite honest. So much that I couldn't stop eating my large Diary Milk Buttons. :P

I'm just wondering if the ending will be good after all. On Virgin1, the woman doing the voiceover said not to miss the "unmissable" finale. I hope it is ...

They have alot to fit into a 50 min episode to make it a decent finale, it'll be intresting how well it actually turns out. They should have had an extra long special for it tbh.

All in all though it hasn't been too bad, certainly not as cringe worthy as one would of expected. Still not psyched about the 'new' trilogy that we apparently have in store for us but chea.
 
Triology? Care to enlighten me about that one?

And finales are always the best usually. Hopefully, this one will make up for some of the slow moving episodes in the series.
 
I wish they'd explain what made John Conner into such a whiny bitch after T2...they totally had an opportunity to explain away why Sarah Conner has different hair, since they're on the run all the time, but then they completely BLEW that outta the water by recreating the jeep photo...c'mon, it would've been easy to make her look a LITTLE more like the original woman who played her for that ONE photo at least!

Whatever though, I'm nit-picking...it's an alright series...I can't put much hate on anything w/Robots & Time Travel involved.
