4/27/10, 1:01 AM.
I started the final boss battles. The First form of
that was relatively easy, requiring that I simply shoot it. My grenade launcher has a 7 shot rate of fire and the ability to enter 2 commands at once so I could easily unload 14 shots per turn. The boss uses an attack that is a ring of energy that does about 50 damage per hit, so I did have to watch my health, after about 5 turns or so the first form went down.

The second form of
, and it was a lot harder. I started the battle off using the Liberate Parasite ability, which did 7 hits of 236 Damage each. This caused the boss to split into two, a flying half and a scorpion-like half. The bird half went down in one shot, but the scorpion half was a lot harder. It runs around a lot and mainly only stops to do a laser attack that circles, so you have to run around it to avoid it. This attack can vary in damage depending on how far away from it you are, the farther away the less damage, however there is more of a chance of you getting hit. It took a good bit to kill this enemy, and I used up most of my healing items battling it, as I was trying to conserve PE for the third form. It finally went down after about 20 turns.

Tidus awoken in a temple. Not sure if I'm getting older but these bosses are getting easier, but I managed to beat Klikk and Geosgaeno easily 
Admittedly, when I was younger I think I woulda used a potion with Geosgaeno not noticing he only takes away half your HP each hit but I digress. Klikk was easy too, I've found myself being less stingey with my grenades. 
Now...BESAID BOUND!

Grenades. <3 Besaid wasn't bad, Kimahri could one hit or lancet everything there... however, on the lovely island of Kilika, we have POISON, PETRIFICATION, and FUCKING SINSPAWN.

he also takes FOREVER to level up. 
fuuuuuck I attacked there instead of lancet..ing. SPHERE LEVEL. AMG SPHERE LEVEL. FINALLY. FINALLY.
Anyway, yeah, so we meet cranky pants but still awesome Lulu and Simba/Kimahri, and summoner lady Yuna.
Done the boring tutorials and fought Sin who is pretty easy...but needs to keep still 
I hate this game. Honestly. Hate it. I'm switching to FFVIII for the duration of this playthrough thing.
Can't wait, I'm going to laugh in the faces of those yellow elements! ... it does have.. no.. fuck... it does have thunder proof doesn't it... lightning proof... whatever it's called. If it doesn't I'll cry. I swear. Hate. This. Game. It's much more trouble than it's worth.
