List your summons and who has your summons and if you use them a lot or not and why you find the useful or a stain on the good game that is FFXII!


Vaan - Belias - Haven't yet had a chance!

..yeah..thats it so far.
 
Penelo - Belias.

Used it once and i doubt i will again, not worth the time imo.
 
I've got them all, and evenly dispersed them to my characters so that everyone has 2 except Vaan who has 3.
 
Sure they are, if you use summons. I got all of them because I'm a die-hard FF fan who has to get everything possible. They are epic and awesome battles to face the Espers in the game, but I hardly used them afterwards. Go for it anyway; can't hurt.
 
i have almost all of them, i am collecting them and dispersing them to my three main characters:vaan, ashe and basch
 
Ashe - Belias Shemhazzi (spellt right?)
Basch - Famfrit
Fran - Mateus

Never used any of them....They're a bit useless..
 
I gave them all to Vaan, purely because Espers in 12 are broken. More of a hardship than a bonus. I also really didn't like them at all, I missed Shiva and Efrit and Bahamut etc. I really wished they had made Gilgamesh an Esper!
 
I got Belias, Adrammelech (accidentially came against this one when I was searching for Marilith lmao) and Mateus so far.

Never used any tho :p

I accidentally came across Adrammalech too, when I was searching for the catoblepas. :P

I have the five you get in the main story and also Adrammalech. I'll probably go find the others because I'm a completist but i don't really use the espers.
 
luckily adrammelech was easy too.

you get across Zelarus as well when you do the hunt for the bloodwing and you see there's a room ahead so you just want to kn,ow what's there and bam there's another esper xD
 
I have the core ones and they are on Vaan and Balthier, cant remember who has what though, i hardly use them, I miss the classic range of summons with the occasional new one.

I don't really use the Espers though because I find them to be quite in-effective. They just get beaten down too quickly or the enemy gang up on my summoner and KO him/her in order to get rid of the Esper. It just seems that summoning them is utterly pointless. I'll try and use them a bit more, but I prefer to just leave them dormant. I'll battle and obtain them, I'm a hardcore fan and I love getting all everything within the game, plus they're better to fight against then along side.

Never really used any of them. In fact, the only one's I've actually summoned are Mateus and Belias, so I could see what they looked like and how exactly the summoning worked and all that. They were pretty useless, so I never really bothered with them. Waste of valuable Mist Charges, imo.
 
I did eventually get all of the summons in the game, but it's been such a long while since I've played, that I don't remember who I had set to whom.

It was fun going around and acquiring them, but once I had them, I hardly ever had a reason to use them. :mad:
 
I've used Belias once, and again to open the gate...
I've used Mateus a couple of times...
I've used Adrammelech but don't really like him...
Used Zalera a lot around the Sochen Cave Palace...
And I've yet to use Culchulainn.
 
I used them all just to see their appearance and Deathblows. They were visually stunning, but I never really found them useful. Zodiark might be useful with his Deathblow, but haven't got him yet.
 
Wow...yeah...i have just been using Belias because he is all I have. But I really did use him during the jelly fights in the Henne Mines and they all ganged up on him and brought his health down quite a bit, but in the end he was able to do his wimpy hellfire attack and murder them all with a nice overkill....well it would be if this game said overkill above the monster when they happened. In FFX every time it said that I would yell PWNG. Anyone else.
