"15 years ago, there was a war....

Well, war's broken out in these world's plenty of times before.....

They tried to invade the realm of light using the power of darkness time and time again.....

Luck was never on their side though and their victories never lasted long....

Facing one defeat after another, losing their grip and watching their worlds fall, they built up their strength to unprecedented heights, and used it to wage one final battle against the forces of light......

That was 15 years ago.......

The Heartless fought ferociously, but were utterly defeated.....

In order to keep their power, the Heartless committed the unthinkable......

Using the power of darkness, he destroyed many of the worlds, in pillars of darkness, killing warriors, civilians, even the heartless that they could have saved, bringing an abrupt end to the war.....

Seeing this tragedy unfold, the victorious warriors vowed to throw down their weapons, and bring the worlds to peace once again.....

On a distant world, far away from civilization, the protectors of the peace take to the skies....."

It has been 4 years since Sora, Riku and the heroes of the light defeated Xemnas and destroyed Organization XIII. All the worlds were saved from Xeanhort, one of the long standing enemies of the Keyblade War.

Now a new threat has come, one that will threaten to bring the forces of darkness and light to clash once again....

You will choose whether to fight for the warriors of light, chosen by the worlds to protect them from evil, or will you fight for darkness and conquer the realms in the name of Chaos?

Name: Hal Otacon

Personality: Dr Hal Otacon is a strong figure, he has limited battle experience but understands every precise movement of the battlefield. Long his studies has taken him into the battle understandings of the heartless. His personal history remains dark and secret which he will never recover from. It haunts him driving him forwards to make sure he does what is right.

Attire/Armor: Dr Hal Otacon wears a black combat jumper with padding on the shoulders and elbows. a military issued cream overcoat with thin framed black glasses. Under his overcoat he hides two short swords which he only removes if necessary. His jacket is mostly done up. But on the instance of a fight breaking out he opens it for access to his swords.

Weapon: Dual Short Swords - One embedded with the power of light and one with a heartless own soul. It can absorb the strength of nearby heartless to make itself stronger whilst making the target heartless weaker for the rest of the party. One is white and gold lined but the other is sheer darkness with a orb attached around the handle to hold the soul of the heartless.

After a battle Hal will open a test-tube and inject the heartless soul into the test tube and will teleport it to his holding lab for one day for further testing to further his understanding.

Drives:
Hells Edge ( Enchants the users weapons with the power of fire ) His jacket also turns to a black leather jacket which has flames stitched on it. His hair will change from short black to long blond flowing.

Heavens Gate ( Enchants the users weapons with the power of light also provides the float ability. His jacket turns to white flowing robes and his hair will again go blond flowing

Abilities/Limit Break: Special Ability -
Learn - Harness the power of your allies to mimic their last move.
Research - Inject the heartless to his own personal collection. Removes heartless from battle.


History/Brief Description:

Dr Hal Otacon,

39 years old - Born into the world in the light he studied in candlelight far from the war in the middle of the countryside of the world of light. War and shadows did not extend to his hometown.. he remained living his life studying the heartless as a professional doctor. Also he has a Masters Degree with Honors in Military Leadership and Battle Strategies. He studied the heartless with the university in the city until his hometown was ransacked in the night when he was traveling to a university. He never forgave himself and on his return he packed his bags from the rubble what he could find of his research and got back into the carriage and went back to the city. Times had changed and a lot of his research lost. He now looks at joining the warriors of light in their everlasting battle against the forces of darkness.

Title: The Sword of Peace (will receive that title later)

Personality: He is naive, and has had little understanding of the worlds around him, the only knowledge of it is from books or from stories his father told him about the war, and can be frustrated when he doesn't understand He is however, kind to his friends and will help them along the way, like his father did during the Keyblade Wars.

Attire: Raven wears a black denim jacket that reaches down to his waist, underneath the jacket is a black wife beater, and a white jeans. Raven also wears crimson-colored gauntlets on his arms to protect himself from harm.

Weapons: Raven's Keyblade, "The Four Wings" is purely an angelic looking key, composed of 4 white wings as it says in the name (2 circular wings make up the grip shield, the long wing makes up the blade and the smaller wing at the end makes up the teeth. Raven's fighting style is powerful and aggressive and his opening fighting stance is similar to that of Squall Leonheart from Final Fantasy VIII.
he is also good in hand-to-hand combat, though not at the same levels as dedicated masters like Tifa Lockhart or Org XIII member Larxene.

Drives:
- Aurora: Infused with the power of light, irises turn light blue and is capable of flight. He can control his keyblade telekinetically and improves range of his strikes.

Abilities:
-Sonic Strike: Raven jumps up and stabs the enemy with his keyblade, followed by a powerful kick to the head.
-Aerial Dodge: Raven can jump in mid air to allow him to reach areas most people would think is unaccessable.

History: Born in the realm of light, in the world of Unity Islands, near the realm of twilight. His father, Epeiste, was a veteran of the Keyblade Wars and saw the defeat of Xeanhort and his apprentice. When Raven recieved his keyblade at the age of 16, Epeiste trained him in the art of swordsmanship. He continues to train with his father and mentor....

....Legend will give rise to this new hero, a warrior born from the wings of black sheath.

Appearance/ Attire:
On top of the black dress/cover is this armoured skirt, but in black. The skirt consist of black material with multitude of smalll black platings all around. On the left side is a slingwhich holds the three keyblades (In the picture it is holding two knives). On her forehead is a forehead pendant which signifys her rank and status. A lot has changed for Chao since she left Eastern Cloud. The most obvious one is the change in her right arm. It now appears to have been composed of flames entirely. One can see the outline of flames shaped as an arm within the flames, but the hand tapers down to longer, claw like hand. Along the entire arm and shoulder bright white cracks run down the length of her arm, as if exposing a super heated core of some sort. To cover this and not set everything on fire, Kaufman has lent Chao her anti-fire gear that she had packed with her. She has a half cape draped over her shoulder with a Phoenix design set in it.

Weapons:
Chao Rin has four weapons. Three keyblades and her Chinese pole arm. Her attacks are infused with fire elements.


Chinese Da Dao:
The pole arm has a turquoise-green shaft that is full metal unlike the image and has oriental markings all down the side, believed to be ancient mantras. All along the white blade is a intricate etching of a flying phoenix with its beak at the blade tip and its wings flaring into flame near the end. Its named is Rising Phoenix. It is capable of slitting into four parts, with the blade head being one and the shaft split into three. Along the center of the shaft is a chain which connects all four section. With a twist of her wrist in a specific way, Chao Rin can seperate certain sections, which allows her to fight to her need, whether it be like its original purpose or using whip like attacks. Another twist of her left wrist will enable the weapon to retract back to its spear form. When not in use, it is broken into its chain form and worn like a whip on her right waist.

Keyblades: Chao Rin has three Keyblades and they can be held in two different manner.

The first and primary position is that Ultima is held in the left hand by itself, whereas Heathen Fire and Cleansing Touch is held in the right with Heathen Flame pointing up like normal and Cleansing Touch inverted upside down in the right hand. When fighting, she sometimes juggle between the three blades whilst fighting or just dual wield Ultima and Heathen Flame. The second is with Ultima in her mouth and Heathen Flame and Cleansing Touch in each hand. When just using Cleansing Touch and Heathen Flame, the two keyblades are usually seperated, but the chains can be connected and extended, enabling more options of fighting for Chao Rin. When not in use, Ultima, Heathen Flame and Cleansing Touch hangs on her left waist where Ultima is at the bottom, then Cleansing touch, then Heathen Flame.

Drives:
As of now, Chao cannot enter any drive forms as doing so destabilises her form due to the presence of Phoenix.
All the colour on Chao Rin's body and clothes are inverted, besides her hair, which turns snow white. Her skin turns chestnut brown and her eyes turn silver. Her nails extend out 10 cm and two fangs protude about a centimetre or two downwards, like a saber tooth tiger. Heathen Flame, Cleansing Touch and Ultima float behing her and attacks telepathically while she holds Dragon Seeking Blade in her hands . In this form, her speed, agility and strength boosts up at the loss of lowering defence and not able to perform magic.


Abilities/Limit Break:
Volcanix Claw - Slamming all three blades into the ground around her in a triangle, a 4 metre hole emerges from the ground in front of her with a pillar of fire shooting out (Easy to dodge. Has to be incapacitated or dazed to be hit or your characters an idiot. More of a showy entrance.). From the pillar, a flaming sprite of Cerebus emerges from the hole and swipe a large flaming paw 6 metres long, 270 degrees around ( Like so [ >o-> ] The "o" is where Chao Rin is standing and the area where the triangle opens up to is missed by the paw. The -> is the direction of the swipe. The only blind spot is directly behind her.

History/Brief Description:
Chao Rin was born into the Fuu family, the royal house which was heavily set in with martial arts and fighting in the world Eastern Cloud. As a result, she is also heavily influenced with martial arts and involved in business in regards to fighting. She was a warrior in the army before her world began to be attacked by Heartless. Fortunately, many of the world's people were like Fuu's family, and extremely proficient with fighting. Therefore, losses were minimal. As a royal and a keyblade warrior, Chao Rin set out to assist the light in the war against the Heartless. On her journey, her fiery spirit and her attacks had earned her as a Scourge of fire against the heartless.

Phoenix has all the grandeur of what one would call a god. Her appearance has the flavour of Eastern Cloud extravagance, with robes, tassels and decorations. Her outfit predominately uses red as a base with gold as a secondary. Blue and white are the tertiary trim amongst the outfit. Her outfit has a plethora of designs and patterns embroided across it. On her back, she has four battle standards that stand erected whilst on her head, she wears an extremely over the top headdress with pheasant tail antennas. Phoenix, when she materialises, is tall, with her full height standing at around 8 meters tall. Her face (pic #2) is powdered white with dark, thin eyebrows, pink eye shadows above her eyes and eye shaping make up, making her eyes rather angular. The lipstick on her lips is a rich red. All in all, she is an extremely majestic being to anyone she appears to, even in her reduced 2.5 meter height. An aura of white flames surround her, giving her a celestial feel.

Weapons:

Phoenix doesn't need weapons herself as she is capable of incinerating and scorch whole planets as such. However. As part of her appearance, she has four chinese qiang/ spears, two in each hand. She grips them in a cross fashion, in which each spear on each hand is seperated by the middle finger. She can easily perform flourishes and chinese opera-esque feats and tricks with them. They are proportionate to her height, so if she was a normal human at 1.8 meters tall, they will be 2 meters in length
Jian:
On her waist is a chinese jian, with the whitest of blades, golden hilt and pommel and the darkest of black sheath and hilt wrapping.

History/Brief Description:
It is difficult to tell the history of Phoenix since noone knows when she came into exsistence.

Attire/Armor: Orion wears a silver leather shirt that doubles as magic protection (IE half magic damage to him), a pair of silver leather pants, grey cloth boots, and a silver headband he uses to hide his sightless silver eyes.
Weapon:Spear made of silver, as well as his ability to manipulate energy for attacks (though those shall be listed in abilities, and also he uses this power to see, by feeling the energy of his opponents)
Drives: Dragon Shifter: Changes into a young dragon (IE, a small one) and fights using claws, teeth, tail like a whip, and breath of fire. Dragon is silver, by the way.
Abilities/Limit Break: Energy orb: launches an orb of energy at a foe. Orb tends to explode on contact.

Jump: The Dragoon's ancient technique of jumping is utilized in combat, only more so with Orion. Orion uses this technique to dash towards and away from enemies. he also uses it to jump high and dive bomb an enemy.

History/Brief Description: WIP

Weapon: Guardian Soul (replacing the katana in the pic)


Fighting Style: She is very fast, using her speed and magic to overwhelm her opponents. Although she is better at magic, she is not afraid to go in to fight it out at close range. She is also quick with the blade and is capable of doing two hit strikes while most others can only do one. She is specialized in Blizzard magic.

Drive:

Eclipse: Luna's Irises turn Light Blue and her attacks become blizzard based. One of her limit breaks is only assessable through this drive alone. She also has the ability to teleport and slide across the ground similar to Sora's Wisdom Form.

Abilities:

Heavenly Strike: Luna fires multiple energy waves at her opponents. This is followed by firing a Blizzard spell at the enemy.

Barracuda Dive: Luna continuously teleports and strikes a single opponent. Is usually a 10-hit combo.

Limit Break:

Flash-Freeze: Luna's Keyblade becomes charged with ice, which she uses to strike multiple times at a single opponent (akin to Zack's version of the Octaslash). This attack can, as its name implies, flash-freeze an opponent, stopping the opponent in place.

Frostwave: (Luna must be in her Drive Mode to use this): Luna twirls her Keyblade like a baton, charging up a blue aura of ice. She then strikes the ground with it, causing a shockwave to come towards her opponents, this causes the enemies to freeze in place. With the snap of her fingers, she can also make them shatter, causing intense ice damage.

History: Born into the Thermidor house, a distinguished family of warriors, healers and keyblade masters. Luna is the first female of her family to become keyblade master. She received her training from Master Yen Sid on how to you the Keyblade. She now aids the forces of light in the upcoming war against the forces of darkness.

I would like to take the time to discuss the situation with the RP.

This story, Kingdom Hearts: the Unsung War is only a part of the bigger picture.....

You see, this RP is part of The Unsung War Trilogy. Which consists of three parts:

Part 1, The Unsung War, will be the shortest of the three RP's.

Part 2, Into the Dusk, will try to be a Darker and Edgier version of the trilogy and will also be the longest.

and Part 3, The Journey Home, will tie up loose ends as the characters will fight the true enemy in all this.

You can also PM me ideas on how you want the story to continue. I'd really appreciate your ideas, and wish you the best of luck in the RP. :)
 
It's been a while since I posted here but, we are nearing the end of Part One, pretty soon, we will be taking the fight to distant battlefields soon.
 
Well I think it would be too late to join in part one but after reading through this and the actual RP I am interested in joining. Since the first part is nearly done I will wait for the second part and join in then.
 
Okay... :| Well, I doubt you'll need to wait that long (although I probably doubt that).

Sorry for the lackluster response though, I haden't had a new person interested in almost 4 months.
 
Yeah I had computer issues a little while back and haven't been able to get on the forums for a few months until around two weeks ago. If I had been able to on earlier I would have joined but as said I don't mind waiting a bit to join in the second part till then.
