Ok, it's been mentioned before - but hopefully, the more people that complain, the better chance will be that it gets fixed.

STOP SENDING EMAILS TO USERS WHO DON'T POST EVERY 5 SECONDS.

Nobody is under any obligation to post regularly, and the sending of emails to users who do not, is childish. The fact that I can't turn off these notices really pisses me off. It verges on being SPAM.

I'm not really interested in any advice like "just post regularly". Any of you are free to spend your lives here. I choose not to. It doesn't me that I (or anyone else, for that matter) should be pestered incessantly.
 
This should be fixed. For Justice. Great Justice.

I thought something was done about a long time ago anyway. I don't get them anymore. :(
 
You can quite easily remove such emails from being sent to you, from within your UserCP. No need to get so riled by it.
 
lol man just pm the admin and ask for them to fix it for you cause it don't do that to anyone else to my knowledge
 
I would love to help you with this issue, but I am unfamiliar with what modification to the vBulletin software is causing you to receive these emails continuously.
I, too, got those emails back in the day =/

Why would you even enable such emails to be sent? I mean, really... Begging users to post? The shame alone of such a thing ought to prompt this to be changed as a default setting. (which it obviously is)

I've changed your user preferences. You shouldn't get these emails anymore.





For everyone else, as I mentioned before, change the settings within your CP.

UserCP > Edit Options > Receive Email from Administrators.

Merely un-tick the box.

If you're going to make statements like that, proofread before you make yourself look dumb, in addition to an ass... (dumb+ass =?)

You're sick of these threads, and I'm sick of the emails. So I guess between the both of us, we cancel out. Now go away.
 
why don't the admin consider it spam then (the topics) and just check your cp it might just be a proplem on your cp

I'm not sure what's causing the problem here but I bet something has to do with the modification that we're using itself. Apparently, there were a few major bugs with the mod and I never noticed that there's a fixed/new release of the mod until now so I've just updated it. To put it in simpler term, the mod is supposed to send out those emails once every week for those who have NEVER posted on the forums so yeah. Hopefully, you will no longer receive any of those emails anymore.
