well, these are my fav characters in the whole game....VIVI runs close second....anyways, i wanted to start a thread about them...like if anyone has questions about them or just want to talk about them, ok, i will start off

1.I got a question....does anyone know how to get Excalibur...(the sword for stiener)...Please answer.

Way ahead of you :P

and yeah you can get Excaliber by the magical fingertip way....but you can get Excalibur II by getting to memoria in under 11 hours :P

and out of interest has anyone ever used a cheat disk to stick beatrix in your party permanently?
 
Thanks for telling me where the magical fingertip was, because i talked to that old guy, and he told me i had to get it to him, i didnt know why, or where it was, but now i do thanks.it must be a rare auction item....becuase i used to do the auction a lot, but never seen the magical fingertip there....

I WISH I USED A CHEAT DISK TO GET BEATRIX.....but i never have....

Z0MG! A contradiction :O I was assured it was 16. That's what hear most places anyway...
I don't use cheat discs, but my mate did. Said she was pretty good too

I know it's not really my place to say this, but I feel somebody should. This is basically going to just turn into a big spam thread. It should be closed. You've left little room for discussion in the first post (to the thread starter) and already, you went way off topic

That was my initial thought, but I guess I was proved wrong. I wish you could have Beatrix in your party for good, but then again it'd be cheating. She is very strong after all.

The Fingertip only appears on Disc 4 and after you've hawked the Rat Tail, Griffin's Heart, Une's Mirror, and Doga's Artifact to the guys around Treno. So, you just happened to've done the legwork ahead of time. :p
 
She was a cool character to have fill in here and there, but her role as a temporary member served her perfectly. I mean, ya can't go having every single person that looks awesome come joining your party. Same could be said for Blank as well.

As for her relationship with Steiner, it's cool that it's left open-ended at the finish of the game. Sure you can sense so many similarities between teh 2 in-game, but their presence at the end fo the game side-by-side leaves that open speculation that something amy form, but we are never really sure. Just another example of how Square knows we're intrigued and wondering, which leaves us grasping for more and more.

anyways, now got another question, how do i find the rat tail, mirror, etc. are they in the auctions house? and what do i do with them once i get them???...sorry if im bothering anyone i just really want to complete stiener's weapon set....i really like him character.

also, has anyone tried combining the "doomsday" magic with stiener's sword magic?...well if you havent, you should try it, its the only combinations i know of that allows doomsday to happen without it hitting everyone.In plus, it looks awsome.

Wait i have one more question.....does anyone know why beatrix is wearing an eyepatch.(or is she?, i cant remember)

Well, yeah, but Beatrix didn't suck...

I love their relationship, because they reflect each other in the game, and I love that cutscene at the end where they
open the doors for Garnet to hug Zidane
- it was adorable.

I actually don´t like Steiner because he can be really annoying at times.

Beatrix changes her behaviour quite fast for my taste also.
First she is a cold assasin and then all of the sudden she starts feeling sorry.:O

Sorry to be getting at you about it, but you just went and broke your won rule. We have the Help Booth for gameplay questions and such

LOL, i didnt screw anything up-i was just asking a question that was revelant to the topic, so that i may get a sword that is related to the topics main character.SO, if you would have read the prevous post, we were talking about how do get the sword, so i was just giving out a completing question, so that i may obtain the sword. Anyways, i didnt break any rule, and if you have a problem with this topic or anything about it, i suggest you notify a mod. thanks.

And to answer your question about Beatrix's eyepatch, I belive that when Solid Snake and Eva had sex (MGS3), that Eva gave birth to Beatrix, and she inherrited her fathers bad eye. If she doesn't wear the patch, her eyeball constantly falls out, and dangles by a chord.
