Just Curious as i am nearly finished FFXIII already, and was wondering and what points in the game do you stop and go WTF!??

for me it would have to be
when you arive on gran pulse for the first time and you see that giant fal'cie
i actually said WTF at that point of the game
 
Just seeing Gran Pulse was enough to make me go wtf!? In a good way. :D

Also when Vanille started
pulling wool of that poor sheep
. I was like, "Vanille, what in Pulse's name are you doing to that sheep!!" But the sheep didn't appear to be in any pain-- and Vanille has lived on Pulse so I guess she knows this. Maybe it has tough skin.

Still, it was a lol moment for me.

Also when I heard the chocobo song. I was taken back by the fact that there was lyrics. I quite like it now though.
 
When
Dysley decided to suddenly go Palpatine and force-lightning Jihl and the entire bridge crew

For one thing, she had done practically nothing, and she was supposed to be one of the primary antagonists - that was extremely WTF for me, because it was just so unbelievably sudden - and for two...well, with all the rest blasted into oblivion, who the hell is going to pilot the aircraft?!
 
My wtf moment was seriously when sazh shot himself and really didnt shoot himself.. i was all like wtf? he didnt die?
 
Right now I am on chapter 9 - though 8 had such a surprising twist to the ending. Out of all the scenes that shocked me the most so far as Sazh
turns the gun on himself rather than Vanille.
But the odd thing is - it is clear that
he can't be dead
contrary to what we see in the CGI scene with Jihl Nabaat. So I'm anticipating to see what really happened there and what will happen next.

EDIT: I'm a bit later on now and my questions are answered.
He never actually shot himself. Jihl only knocked him out with a stick.

Lol my WTF moment was when I got to Gran Pulse, I saw some big ass red golem, the size of cocoon, I was like... 'W...T...F? :O I wanna keel it'

Now that ive actually completed the game and the Crystarium Grid, I found out its a titan with several quests :/

Still wanna kill it.

I will kill it.

I will pull Cocoon onto it.

And it will be pancake

Yum.
 
After getting through chapter 9 at last, the scene at the Palamecia's bridge was the single most "WTF" moment to me so far. Martel has brought it up already -
Dysley blasts Jihl Nabaat and his entire crew
with magic. When I first saw that, it just shocked me because we've hardly seen much of
Nabaat
nor have we got to know her character that well. It only hit me that she was dead when we see no more of her after the battle.

It disappoints me greatly now. She just seemed so much of a throwaway character that was killed off utterly underwhelmingly. I didn't like the fact that her character became out of place when she was panicking incompetently in front of Dysley about alarm colour codes.
 
The most wtf moments for me is when Jihl Nabaat was
decimated
 by Galenth Dysley and She was one of my favorite characters who just got thrown off the game out of nowhere. Also when Cid Raines was
shot to death by Rygdia.

After finding hopes dad,theres a little war with rosch,and it feels like he got shot,seriously,and he comes back.

How fang tries to betray the party sometimes

how cid is revived and gets shot shortly after,what a lame villain!

the priest really reminds me of palpatine of how he killed nabaat9she died too fast)

Hope disgusted when fang checks the symbol on vanilles bare ass

How the final boss talks is mentally retarded!!!
 
i thik mostly everyone agrees that Jihl Nabaat dieing suddenly like that was out of place and WTF and it was such a bad bit of story telling but like i said in another post she is probably just another victom of SE cutting lots of scenes story and areas out to fit the game on Xbox WTF for me is when that guy with the silver hair near the end of the game bleeds i mean when was the last time i saw someone bleed in a FF
