[SPOILERS] Was anyone else annoyed

I thought it was more annoying that Tidus was so oblivious to it. I mean why didn't he sit there and think, well Yuna dad brought the calm with my dad and neither one of them is here even though it was only 10 years ago long enough for them to still be alive. Yet Auron was "alive", but not with Braska or Jecht.

Jecht is alive, it's just he's sin.
Anything could have happened over ten years, and Braska is the only Grand Summoner that he knows about. Ohalland et al are dead because they lived ages ago. To base any theory off just one case would be unrealistic.

Never said Jecht was dead just said he wasnt with Auron or around like Auron was. People base things off of one case all the time it's hardly unrealistic. Plus Tidus is retarded. You'd have to get hit by a sack of bricks a dozen times to reach his level of retardation. It was all really obvious form fairly early in the story all the other factors just helped in revealing it, but yea Tidus is dumb he shoulda seen it comin and stopped bein a dummy.

It is annoying, but if everything were to be revealed, where's the storyline going right at the beginning? I thought it was best to leave it up until the midway point because it creates much more drama. Otherwise the drama would have faded away at the beginning. It's what you'd call the twist in the story that you don't find out until later on.

I thought it was very typical Japanese behaviour to keep you in the dark like they did... the Japanese are never really straight with you, and how Yuna and the gang treated Tidus reminded me of Japanese people.

I'm asking about this.

They probably knew that Tidus loved her, or had feelings for her at least and could not bring themselves to tell him that she would have to die to save Spira. They maybe thought that he would fight in protest of it and did not want that to happen. Yuna may have told them to not tell him in fear of how he would see her as a person that put everyone else above herself. Tidus wouldn't have wanted her to do it and worse case scenario where it would have HAD to be done, he probably would have put up a hell of a fight to stop her.

I wasn't particularly annoyed, but I was a bit like "Wth...they should've tolled him sooner", I felt sorry for Tidus throughout the entire game pretty much, because he knew so little, and often got looked down on by other people in Spira, but the fact the party stuck with him was a good thing, Wakka could've simply left him alone in Spira, to make his own way, but the fact he took him in, and introduced him to everyone was a good thing on his part.

I sound evil, but I loved him getting into a huge rant about Yuna. It was pretty cute to see that he's showing his true feelings to Yuna, it needed that scene just for the climatic touch half way through the game whilst everyone is still trying to escape. :)

Wakka and co. were actually about to leave tidus behind in Luca. It was only when Auron told them the conditions of his guardianship that they let tidus become one. Personally, i thought all of them save for Auron were jackasses to Tidus for the first half of the game. That includes Yuna.
