I finished the game a couple of days ago...........and well wasnt that content with saving all the people and completing the focus. aren't any of u guys pissed off you couldn't fight 2 of the main enemies........... ragnoro and jihl?

Jihl held dajh captive and also captured sazh and vannile.

Ragnorok is just a monster with sephiroth intentions.(destroyin the world)

and you didn't get to kill either

you happy,sad or not bothered?

But ragnarok is vanille and fang or so I think? So we would have to kill them. I hardly remember the story ao I'm probably wrong.

As for Jihl, I agree, it would've proven an interesting fight. Too bad she was disposed of before that could happen, :(

As for Ragnarok, well, that's the form Fang (and then Vanille) take after... well, all that happens, so, lest it would've managed to otherwise take on a different form (i.e. that it had merged with Orphan, now THAT would've proven to be quite puzzling, actually there wouldn't really be a logical reason for that to happen, xD)
*Ajem* But yes, if Ragnarok had taken a separate "stand-alone" form and for some reason attack the party... well that'd would of been quite a blast.

To be honest, I'm not that bothered at all with Jihl. Yes, disposing of her like that so cheaply and quickly was a lame move and pretty much destroyed her credibility as a villain, but a battle with her wouldn't have increased my liking towards the game that much at all.

Besides, if Barthandelus hasn't gone all Emperor Palpatine-like at that moment and Jihl faces the party, I can't imagine it would be that much of a fight anyway. Unlike Rosch, she hasn't come accompanied with a powerful airship-like machine to help with the combat. Unlike Raines, she is an ordinary human and isn't really equipped with much in the way of actual magic. So I can imagine Jihl being easily defeated on the spot by the L'Cie party. Still, I suppose I was disappointed that Sazh and Vanille didn't get a chance to settle the scores with her.

As for Ragnarok....well, it's hard to say. When its existence is first uncovered, I thought it would have made a rather nice boss towards the end. But when I discovered that somebody in the group has to become Ragnarok, I realised anyway that it may not be a boss at all unless there's a reason to fight it. I don't know about you, but I kind of expected the Fal'Cie Eden to have been a good behind-the-scenes villain.....until I reached the Cradle.

forgot to mention cid as well.........i know we did fight him,but it would of been nice to kill him with our own hands, instead of the cavalry. but as for Ragnarok it would of been better to kill it,after all vanille and fang did turn to crystal.

I think everyone with the stigma could become Ragnarok... maybe they were all supposed to fuse their summons and become something more powerful instead of just Hecatoncheir and Bahamut (they all had the same mission given to them by Anima after all), but I guess it would have been lame if all the heroes became crystals, so it's just okay if Vanille and Fang fix the mistakes of their past. And Ragnarok is not something with "Sephiroth" intensions, think of it as formatting your PC, a renewal... so in FFXIII it is a "second chance" to redeem humanity, if that makes any sense.
