yeah, i haven't made mine yet. turns out i have a seriously terrible case of conjunctivitis ( :hmph: ) I am not freaking kidding. I wish I was, but I'm not. :hmph: my eye is all swollen and everything, I can barely even see out of it. That's why I haven't been on in two days. I wanted to drop in and give a heads up, hopefully this will be over in a few days and I'll get mine done soon. Sorry. :/

Aw what, holy crap. o_O Get better soon. My mom's been sick too. x_x It's a pain. Wasn't to hurry anyone up though, it's only tuesday. Plus, thursday evening I'll probably be dead for a few days anyway. 4x wisdom tooth cutaway. FML.

So it seems sigresource has gone or edgfx whatever it was called after the merger. Admittedly i have no idea where to go for renders now. Cant remember my gfxr password and fringefx is crap.

All renders on DA are either 1) Anime 2) Girl with her hands covering her tits

So. Mitsuki, Nero Trinity, Big Casino, Paper Ballerina, guys. (Who have been fairly active) I'm a bit 50/50 on what to do with SOTW - it's been going great the last few times, and I think the majority is due to the popular First come, first serve theme. However, I don't want you guys to get bored.

So what do you think? Still in for randomized themes? And tossing the first come first serve in every now and then? I'd just like us to keep the activity going, it makes the voting a lot more fun and gives us an actual competition.


Ideas?
 
I personally really enjoy the more than five renders to choose from. It's sorta like a double competition. Not only do we have to duel out our gfx but we have to sorta duel for a specific render. :lew:

But I'm just one opinion.

You know what else I've been thinking of. A few of us really enjoy large pieces (looking at you @Big Casino) and I know we sometimes do them every now and then but I was sort of thinking of expanding our horizons with the whole gfx LPs.

Thinking outside of the box, ye know.? Like, making posters (which we did before) but also things like designing items, like how we did CD covers for the clans a while ago. Something like that. Personally, I don't know how many times I look at house-hold items and think of redesigning their covers. :wacky: I don't know if it's just me but it always pops in my head when I look at a bad soda can design or a pretty bottle. If it's really well done it inspires me to try my own hand at it, and if it's bad it inspires me to make one better. :wacky: However, the problem with that is we'd have to find stocks and be able to alter them... so I guess that's out.

I don't know. Maybe what I said will get the ball rolling for everyone else :lew:
 
Oooo, a CD case sounds fun to do. I'm also having a blast with the render picking. It's also hard to wait for the first person to post - and not steal one right as I post the guidelines. :rofl: Just to be fair! I definitely wanna keep the renders theme in often.

What do you guys think about the CD Case theme?

Also note: Currently collecting all the entries for signature of the year. Guidelines 78 and 79 will not be counted in with 2013's picks - but I'll include them in 2014's Signature of the Year.

Planning on tossing the voting up today, (if I can get it all done!!! :rage:) and leave it open until Dec 28th. ;)
