I recently got into a game called Combat Arms. For those of you who don't know, it's a free, downloadable, FPS game. So, I was playing it and I am fucking HORRIBLE at this game. And it didn't bother me at first. But, as it went, I actually got depressed. I just got done playing like four minutes ago and I'm feeling really blue. Is that normal? Is it normal to suck at something so bad that when you try and engage in it you feel down? I know it's just a game. And that's why I'm trying to figure out why I'm sad. What the fuck's up with that? Eh, I think I'll just go look at Kim Kardashian's ass. That always cheers me up... :sad3:

whenever this happens in a game (say STARCRAFT) I end up looking up a bunch of vids from pro players online and try to imitate them

it usually helps

Monkey see, monkey do :monster:

Also, I get the same at times, but i'm too stubborn to watch pros and just fail a lot more :sad3:

Deadpool wouldn't cry! :O

If Deadpool sucked then he'd shoot the computer screen and then go off out to do some REAL first person shooting. :brooding:

I have never felt ill after sucking so badly at a game and I don't normally yell at my games (I may curse under my breath at them), but NHL 11 definitely has caused me to yell at it. I was playing goalie. I always start on Rookie (which is the easiest setting) until I get the hang of it, then I bump the difficulty up. Well, on rookie setting, I only had like 4 shots on me total, and let one or two in (which isn't normally a problem since my team will score a ton). But then, after the game, because I only ended up with a 50% - 75% save percentage, the coach made it sound like I had a sucky game, even though my defense wasn't letting any shots get to me except those 4.

So anyway, I boosted the difficulty up to superstar (which is the hardest). Once again, I'd only let in one or two goals, but I'd be getting almost 20 shots on me a game. GREAT. However, it wasn't so great because my idiotic team couldn't score worth a damn. Of course, I'm stupid enough to let this go on like this for like 13 games before I started messing with the settings to at least get my team to score, win or lose). I've never yelled at a game so much before.

I did used to chuck my SNES controller around when I was younger and was getting my butt whooped by M. Bison in Street Fighter 2.

I wasn't expecting that.

Yeah, sometimes I think that I'm bipolar. Sometimes, I go from really happy to incredibly depressed for what seems like no reason. I don't much enjoy it. But, I've actually gotten used to it. I don't have a bad life. I think maybe I just feel a little trapped. :sad3:
