...Who makes sure everyone that can learn magic, learns it? I'm doing well so far, Im not sure if you can teach Gogo or Umaro (Umaro I think is in constant beserk mode), but I've pretty much taught everyone else. I think I'm doing to the last few people now. Setzer and Terra have learnt a lot, as does Mog. Strago is just picking up on Magic, then there's Relm.

Edgar, Celes, Sabin, Shadow, Gau, Cyan, Locke know every magic available I currently have for them. Including Ultima :P

And yes, I actually did the whole wear the cursed shield thing to get the paladin shield, and wore a ribbon too, and the only affect I got was doom, which I got out of a lot xD

I tried but it was getting way too time consuming, I did have afew of my guys learn almost everything, but I just got bored in the end so only my main party had pretty much all the learnt magic

Muhahaha, srsly, you level up loads. Why, I havent even reached the fanatics tower and Celes is level 70 :wacky:

Well I make sure all party members have curative/dispelling magics and at least one of each elemental magic, but I focus more on using the right esper to stat boost the heck outta characters.

trying to heavily stat boost both terra and celes by alternating with magic dmg + 1 and +2 espers each level for them to max out there magic damage at full once thats achived ill pass terra bizmark and hike her to 99, so she will be able to do insane damage with illuminati min/max ftw :P

But like i said I usually roll with edgar and shadow anyway, and they usually get a lot outta bizmark/ifrit by alternating those between the 2 :D

I'm currently levelling up my characters in the dinosaur forest. I'm currently focusing on Locke, Sabin, Mog and Terra. Once all of them reach level 50, I'll train a new group. Probably Celes, Relm, Edgar and Strago because I wanna do the Hidon subquest. Then I'll train Cyan, Setzer, Shadow, and Gau. I tend to rotate Espers so my characters learn the most important spells and and get stat bonuses.

I make sure all my characters know all magics by the time I do Kefka. Complitist in me in'all. But it is tedious to do so, especially early on when you can only get 1-3 AP from battles so normally I just get key magics.

Never really bothered with the stat boostes appart from HP and MP to be honest. I don't think it's really that neccassary.

Wait until you get outside Miranda in WoR. Where Slagworms lay, you can take on Cactuars, and they give you 10AP a battle, and theyre relatively easy to beat, just oh so devious in not being hit when you want them to be.

Yeah thats what I do, hunt the Cactuars and Slagworms. Silly me was suprised when Jumbo Cactuar appeared in the GBA version though, despite me knowing he was in it and figured before hand that it was probabaly the way of finding him ><

I've been working on the Palidan Shield for sooo long and it's been no help! I've literally worn it ever since I got it, and I've had to have won more than 250 battles with that Mo-Fo equipped!@!

As for the others learning magic, it's going good. I mean I beat the game already a bunch of years back and haven't played it since, but at the time I learned almost everything there was to know magic-wise with my main 5 or 6 characters that I used.

This was a pretty cool game to try and get all the spells for your party.
