I'm sorry Lady Aerith, I try not to make my posts hostile, but sometimes I get really riled up. Sorry.

And yet, dispite my efforts, it seems that in the end, (nearly) everyone comes to the conclusion that I originally made in the first place. The greatest irony, I tell you, is to have a long debate and have everyone agree with you in the end with complete disregard for your arguements. Why do I even bother?
 
It's alright Dragon Mage, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap. It's just that I feel you were trying to make people agree with everything you have said and the same goes for Aeris. The creators have always intended upon leaving the love triangle open to your own interpretation. They aren't going to pair Cloud with Tifa just because Aerith is gone and they aren't going to pair Aerith with Cloud. That would be cause for fan service and if they were to pair one with another then they would end up losing A LOT of fans. I think that's the last thing they want. They just wanted to show that Cloud was able to move on, but there are quotes in the Reunion Files which point out perfectly well Cloud's feelings towards both women and vice versa. It will always be open to your own opinion. Some things are fact and some are not. In the end, you shouldn't have to expect everyone agree to your argument where as you shouldn't be expected to agree with another's argument.
 
My thoughts exactly. You've just said the very thing I've been trying to prove. Since we all agree, I think it's safe to close this thread as there is no longer any need for it.
