I didn't have cable much till it was in its later life (old host was better, though), but I'd seen it plenty of time. They replaced it with some shit underwater thing :hmmm: I enjoyed watching some of the shows that were on it (many that have slipped my mind :wacky:) and was disappointed that they took it off. Cartoon Network doesn't have much good on it now, and only Code Lyoko was good after that. It doesn't even have cartoons on it anymore :ffs:

In a way, I was glad toonami was eradicated having spawned a mass revolution of weaboo oriental culture fap worship.

The legions of anklebiters unable to spell "hiro yui" running around with "heero yuy" screen names and handles were cute at first. But had a way of being slightly annoying.

Luckily for me, I had other sources of anime & didn't miss toonami. :T

The elitist anti-dub movement was also in force back then & anything translated from japan had a tendency to implement vaguely over dramatic, overly serious or bad, low quality, voice acting. Example -- krillans voice sounded he was talking through his nose at times on the freiza arc.

But later I did miss toonami & re-watched gundam wing, dragonball kai, & other series for nostalgia sake. :ohshit:
