...and I'm making a return to FFXII, and completing FFX. But I'm stuck on what to play afterwards.

Part of me wants to play TTA2 on the DS, I'm slowly making my way through that.

Bit of me thinks, why not take up X-2 again? I quite enjoyed...it to some extent.

Then again...I quite love FFVIII, 2nd fave FF in existence atm. I even like the story better then XII's, just.

If you want to suggest anything else, do let me know.

I have also: VII, VI, V, IV (gba and ps), VI (gba and ps), CC (cube)

I do have more games, but, IX wont work, TA is complete, and of course, the others will have been completed and shizz.

So, go nuts with suggestions!
 
I would suggest FFVIII.

I intend on doing the same thing myself. I've not played it for quite some time so I kinda miss it.

I suppose it depends on which games you've played most recently as well.

I would suggest playing something that you knew you really enjoyed but can't quite remember much about. It'd sorta feel like playing a new game in a way. XD

But yeah out of what you've jotted down I'd go with FFVIII. =)
 
FFVI so that you can replay it and realise that you should have healed Kefka not attacked him:elmo:
I agree with KS, play one that you haven't played for ages.
I would have suggested FFX, but since you're going to complete that, why not go ahead and play FFX-2, it won't take too long.
 
I agree with the other two, play one you haven't played for ages, so it kinda feels brand new. xD

I suggest either FFV or FFVI for you. Since they're portable, and fun to play. You can't really go wrong with the classics either ^^

Im gunna replay it myself soon, its been so long since ive played it and i love the storyline. Sooooooo yea Lisa play 8.
 
Take up X-2. It's fun, and there's plenty of sidequests and minigames if you get bored with the main story. Sure the bosses aren't as big, but I say X-2 :-)
 
Maybe I'm going out on a limb here, especially since this is a final fantasy forum, but why replay a FF game you've already played when you could play an RPG outside the FF franchise that you haven't played?

I could suggest a few if you like...
Anyway, if you absolutely must replay an FF game, then I suggest you do as other mentioned and choose one you haven't played in a long time. As long as you enjoyed it the first time that is.
 
Blah blah blah, play one you haven't played one in ages like most people have already suggested xD

Buuuut, if for one reason or another you don't wanna go by that, then I would say it depends on how much time free you've got. If it is long, then go for FF8, that'll take you a good while to complete whilst getting you involved in an engaging story while providing you more relatable characters then a typical FF offers. But if you haven't got that much free time on your hands, then FFX-2; quick, easy, and one of the more humourous FF titles imo.
