so i'm finally getting a job

forming a band and learning how to play guitar for a career isn't productive? :monster:

It's productive but it's not going to bring in an income either. Do you know how many people who make bands and never make it? You need to count on having a real job that's going to bring in money so you can start living out your life. You can't count on a band.

How does a lazy cunt like Derek get a job before me, a less lazy cunt who's appied to at least dozens of fucking other places!? :gasp:

srsly, I'm happy for you. Maybe you'll meet some hot chick and bang her in the back of the laundro :neomon:

Counting down the days until you either leave or get fired, Derek. I have no faith in you at all. :monster:

Justifiably...

It's just a laundromat job, how hard could it be? I even get 75 cents more per hour if i come to work on time and come back from break on time. sounds like a fucking deal to me if we get the jobs:wacky:

which is why I'll be working a job and playing gigs until we do make it big. :P

Half the trouble of being in a band is having things organised and getting your fucking bandmates to actually come to practice. Other than that, it's pretty smooth sailing if you're able to keep up with your mates:monster:

But if playing in a band doesn't work out, you'll have to work in a laundroma for the rest of your life?
I think that's what other people are getting at, a laundromat may be a good place to start, but do and could you really work there for the rest of your life?

Well, after July my mate and I are moving into a house his dad is letting us rent it pretty cheap. It's really nice, too.

But if working at the laundromat gets the bills paid and gets us living a decent life, then hell yeah. :wacky:
