It's been quirte a while, I've been without Photoshop for about 5 months =( nevertheless, I want to get back into it...

Though it seems I've forgotten some basic skills...

anyways, thought u guys could help me? Cnc this time? Please?

I am not really very good with photoshop myself but thought maybe I could help give you some crits

The colours and stuff in your sig are nice, the only thing my untrained eye can really see wrong with it is the outline of Vanille is a little rough, you might need to some how smooth where you've erased a little better?

otherwise it looks good to me!

cool, thanks! Ye I agree that Vanille needs to be smoothed out a bit, but my rendering skills suck =/

I really like your snow one, I think you did a really good job! In some of the darker areas of the background you can still see some of teh erased lines from teh snow pic, but it still looks good! 8/10

The new vanille one is also a lot better than the first I kinda like the washed out one a little more and think it could use some kind of funky text on the left just to give it some more umph! 7/10

So I got some cnc from some other sites and apparently the butterfly smudging looks kinda odd. So I downloaded some smudge brushes, experimented, and this is what I got:

yes, I'm going through a FFXIII phase atm...

EDIT: Just letting everyone know, the Hope one was 18 layers, the Lighning one was 21 visible layers

The top one looks the better of the two when it comes to blending. The colours seem to cover up the sharp edges around Snow a lot better. =)

The second one is more appealing colour wise and is nice and bright.

The only thing I see that you could improve one, which is apparent in nearly all of your work is the sharp edge around the characters.

It makes them seem a little too slapped on at times and not really working in with their surroundings.

Other than that you're doing great. =)

This is my favourite so far, I love how Riku is blended in and the lighting and background is awesome, loving the text too, although it is a little hard to see....

I also like this one, the effects around hope are really original, and the text again is good, the only thing I would like to see is a bit more colour or light, but not too much as this is great already ^^

You've blended Fang in much better with her surroudings!

Nice lighting and I like how you made the text stand out nice and bold. =)

Once again you've done an awesome job at blending the image in with it's surroundings so that it doesn't look too slapped on. =)

The colours go wonderfully with the character and the lighting is tad bright but nothing too major. =)

I personally think you improved quite a bit with your effects. You might wanna look up some more subtle fonts, instead of the big bold ones, unless it's what you like, of course.

You definitely improved though, and I think it's important to point that out. Awesome effects in the Riku siggy.

I like the colours and blending here, and the text is pretty nice, but, I'm not so sure if more could have been added, perhaps a light source on the left hand side? It just feels a little empty. The border being white is a nice touch, but I think it's a bit too big and dominates the piece.

Nero looks a little blurry in the avatar, but the rest is really nice, I especially like the text. The signature is one of the best I've seen from you too! He's blended really well and the colours are nice. Again, I think the border is a little bit too big, and the text is a little offputting.

I really like this one, it flows really well. Especially liking the position of the light source. A small border would complete this, I think, but otherwise, it's really good.

I voted for this piece, I really liked it. Perhaps the 1 in the middle of the 0 in 2010 is a little off-putting, but, I can't fault the rest. The colours and lighting have been used to wonderful effect.

You're improving with every update, so keep up the great work ^^
