hi this is bezza posting a new thread after playing ffx i felt that i had to contribute on how awsome the character auron really was in the game everything about him just sparked a feeling of curiosity inside me throuoght the game i know there is already a thread on sir auron but i felt that the best way to get my opinion seen was to make a new thread i think auron was by far the greatest character in final fantasyX and possibly the greatest character out of all of the ff series and i think it would be awsome if somehow final fantasy found a way to reintroduce sir auron into the final fantasy series so ive had my say now i want to see what everybody else thinks about sir auron as a character and if you too would like to see him introduced into later series of final fantasy

this is my first ever thread and first ever post so please exuse me if its not up to original standard that new threads usually are and also please exuse my lack of punctuation as i am really bad at punctuation and dont know where to put it all

well there you have it please comment away i look foward to seeing your opinions

First off, welcome to the forums :dave:

i felt that the best way to get my opinion seen was to make a new thread

The best way to express yourself would have been to post in the existing thread. Making a new one doesn't enhance your post it only gives the mods more to do.

I don't think he's the best character but he's certainly up there and I can see why you think that. He's pretty much the only character in FFX who had my full respect.

His design and demenour have been very well thought out and fully compliment one another. He's awesome in battle too :yay:

He was totally badass, sexy voice to boot, shem his VA wasnt as hot as he sounded :hmph:

I love the way that line carries the implication that you've actually searched and found the VA and thought.. "nahhh, i wouldn't" :wacky:

Auron was definatly the ultimate badass of all time. He is my favorite character in the FF series. He was silent, mature and when he did talk it was words of wisdom. His wardrobe was great, i love the fact that he carried a HUGE sword that could break through anything.
He also had the best special attack in the series Tornado. By the time that i got to Yunalesca he was maxed out strength wise (for that part of the game), so i just let him hit her seven ways from sunday, and lulu was doublecasting ultima, tidus was there for support. Beat her in two minutes :P
Anyways, overall best character in the series.

I love Sir Auron. Especially his voice and his theme... they fitted him so well. In fact I was so enamoured that when FFX-2 came out I developed a theory that Paine is his daughter just so there was some 'part' of him in the sequel...I mean everyone was in it how could he not be? But sadly that theory was disproved :p

I practically squealed when they included him in KH2 hehe.

the reason why i thought of sir auron more highly than any other character is because everything about him adds up mystery and you want to know more about him and the thought that paine is his daughter is a nice theory if only it were true

a qiuck question to people do the ff creators check these forums to see if there are any good ideas to add to new series

Do one you. Auron is clearly the best character of all time ever

He was totally badass, sexy voice to boot, shem his VA wasnt as hot as he sounded :hmph:

You never look up the VAs Kel, have you seen Reno's? :gonk: Makes me sad :sad3:

But Auron... Auron is just... amazing. He's one of my favorite characters to use after Rikku, and I usually combine him with her anyways, so it doesn't matter too much. XD (I'm also a major Aurikku fan but I'll keep that out of this topic <.<)

In my latest game I was gutted when I realized I wasn't going to get to use him :wacky: I'm doing Kimahri and then Rikku only... so I only got to use Auron for a few battles right away.. then the one sinspawn one and I'm practically done. :sad3: Such a pity..

Another lovely thing about Auron is the fact that his Celestial weapon isn't a bitch and a half (COUGHLULUCOUGH) to get. His is fairly easy and useful... just amazing. <3

He's slow though. Slow sucks, and usually I'd hate him just for that. :mokken: But as Bambi/Kelly said.. he's hawt. :ness: and his sword looks awesome :monster:

Well he is wielding a very heavy and badass sword...makes sense that he'd be a bit slower than the rest. I usually just haste everyone in the party and that takes care of it...plus he doesn't look like a majorly hyperactive kid when on haste (like Tidus).

Auron definatly is one of the best characters in the series.
He's rated up there with Sephiroth, Zack, and Locke for me.
Seeing him
be sent
was really sad though.
I felt like:holyshit: when he revealed he was
already dead the whole game and was just unsent.
Then I almost knew it would happen...:gonk:

Auron is just awesome. Fantastic character & he saved my butt in some boss battles :D

Auron is the definition of badass. Like, no lie :ryan:

He's a powerful warrior and he's very wise.

I quite liked his character. No other real reason to explain myself :wacky:

He was great in battle. I think he's without a doubt one of the best (if not) characters in the series.

Just an amazing dude =]

I agree Auron is definately a favourite in FFX.........

but it's a shame how they didn't include him in FFX-2.............I mean I can understand why he's not there, but he only ever gets a mention once by Wakka, throughout the whole entire game (I think)

Whereas in FFX they would always mention Auron.........as a legend.

You assume Auron's arm was injured...when he was killed and so that's why it is in a sling. Doesn't make sense but that's the only explanation I could think of.
