they call him 'Red Pyramid' or 'Pyramid Head'. yeah, he's definitely cool. I thought that the Buster Sword was big! His was frikkin' huge! but the guy who was in that suit, his butt cheeks were showing but they editted that in the movie. of course, it'd be hard to watch cuz you'd probably be giggling the whole time...

Whoa, you know its name? Not bad, not bad. I think I'd find it hard to giggle at just about anything while watching Silent Hill. haha

Suspenseful movie right there. Ooh, that monster with the red vine things was awesome, too. I can't think of a better way to describe him. He was screaming and crap in the bathroom...I think...

I should watch it again maybe. I'm losing myself even...

The guy who played Red Pyramid also played the janitor. He also choreographed the Dark Nurses scene. He was a busy guy. You know what I liked? There was no happy ending. The family is together, but apart at the same time. It kept me mind-fucked that's for certain.

Oh! And there will be a 2nd movie! I hope they'll make it as good as the first...

The film was a great adaptation for what it was meant to be (a film that stayed true to the games without using any of the stories from such)... and it was rather entertaining... but the fear factor in it could never match that of Silent Hill 2... hell, nothing can match Silent Hill 2 in terms of the fear factor. It has even been named the scariest game of all time by multiple game magazines (Game Informer, EGN, PSM), websites (IGN, Gamespot, GameRev), and even G4TV's X-Play.

Me too, the first had a great storyline and great characters and it stayed true to the games which was essential.

It wasn't just a good spin-off of a good games franchise, it wasn't just a good horror flick, it was genuinely a good movie.

Silent Hill 2 was the least scary game is my opinion. The original was always be the scariest. Remember the fridge part near the end of the game? If you didn't put the ring on the fridge before taking the dagger, you met a rather gruesome death.

As for the movies....she was quite good looking, but there is better.

I've not played the games but I have watched this movie.

It was freaky.

I totally hid when that huge freaky dude came out when the horn sounded outside. And then he rips the skin off that chick.

The majority of the movie was freaky but I still sat there and watched. >.<

The ending was weird though.

Yeah that guy (the fiend or something right?) made me feel sick. Actually, a lot of that movie made me sick.
The cop being burned alive was the worst.. As well as that one lady having all that barbed wire like... running through her.. ugh what a disturbing movie.

I actually can't say I enjoyed it, but I do respect that many people can. I'm just not into those gory kinds of movies. Also, I should point out that I never played any of the games.

The only reason I actually did watch this movie was because they filmed it (the town) in the downtown of my city, which us locals thought was pretty awesome. I live in a very small city, we don't get much action here. But then they started closing off a couple streets and the buses had to get re-routed, and then they started boarding up people's business and putting new names on the places we often went.. it was a fun experience. I got to check out the progress every morning on the bus on my way to school.
I remember a scene with the main character walking through a street with the cop, and seeing a small club and going 'oh hey, I go there on fridays..'.

It was cool to us..

The way I saw it was that the husband gave up looking for her, and she had to stay in Silent Hill permanently because there was no way back.
I'm not positive though.

Either they died and are spirits in Sean Beans world. Or they are still trapped in Silent Hill. Personally I think they are trapped within Silent Hill. Was a good film, lot of links to the games. The music at the end of the film is from the third game, love it.

Seen it a year ago. Never played the games but heard the soundtracks, so I was pretty curious when I saw the movie was on TV.

I loved it, the music was great, I noticed that there was only one song that wasn't from the games. I forgot most of the things from the movie though so I really should watch it again xD
I also didn't understand the ending at first but now I do.
