As all of you, have only seen me with this single name.
I have been known as Red Fox on forums for just over 11 years.
As so, Im wondering if I should change my usename.
The thing here is, I sorta don't want to, and I still want to. So Im giving hte option to you guys.

NOTE:
I dont want any posts that states "do what you wish" or "you should do what you want".
because, if that were the case, I would not make this topic.

SO, unless you are gonna participate in this properly, you might just as well not.

I do approve voting without posting, but Id prefer that you do both ^^

So, no...unless you can think of summat really cool.....there's always a danger someone might take your name if you ever want it back aswel :gasp:
 
If it has been part of your online identity for 11 years, then I wouldn't change it.
If you've become attatched to it, and thats how others have viewed you then that is a pretty major change.

If you're bored of it, then I suggest make a few alterations to the current name that you can use in some places...
In my case I switch between Argor251, Argor and True Argor.... All keep "Argor" in them, as that is my identity online, and they all fit in that.

So if you're unsure whether you want to remove the name, modify it or whatever, then perhaps a slight alteration, an alternative twist on the name could be what you need.

Keep the fox theme, or the red theme, whichever connects with you more, but add another word or something in front of or after it.

It depends how much you are attracted to your name, and how much it means to you.
 
Whoa, a real decent reply.
As I hoped for, but did not expect.

It is as you said, I have grown attached to it, but it is more to it then the nick name.

However, as I have had it for 13 years (yes, I have used it off line for more then on line ^^) I am in the mood to get something new, yet there is the feeling that makes me want to keep it.
Which is why I made this poll.

If I do change, even though it might only be for a short while, I will change it completely, it will not contain the color Red, nor the word Fox.
I think it is more to check the feel of it, to see if a new name is really for me.

So this is just a chance I have to take.


Due to my own indecisiveness, I have decided that after making tis poll go on for a while, I will choose the side with most votes.

Reasons:
1. I'll ban you if you change your name
2. I've known you for almost a decade on the name Red Fox even though you live half-way across the world.
3. You can change your name from Red Fox when I change mine from BustaMo to something else; so never.
4. Damn the bartender serving me drinks tonight was hot as hell.
5. I'll ban you if you change it.
6. Kelly will change your avatar to a purple unicorn.

Keep it. You like it, have done so for 11 years - not worth giving up now, it's become a part of you dear.
