Should I Start Again?

I've been tempted to go through it again many times but never follow through on my desire. I get a great jumps start to it, but once I reach the world map, I always forget and give up.

Exactly the same with me, I've done just that about 3 times in the last year or so. :p

I only placed FFIX once this past year.
I want to again. Soon. ^_^

I'd start on a new file if you can't remember the plot otherwise you'll find it hard to remember what was going on and where to go espically if you saved it on the world map ^_^
i hated when that happened: saving on the world map and then forgetting what we were supposed to do...lol but yeah you should restart it if you really can't remember anything. And as far as the game goes, its a good one :P

Ehh... I don't know. I mean, the plot repeats itself throughout the game, so you may not have to. You could if you wanted to...

I say start a new file! I basically did the same thing with FFVII last week since I couldn't remember much before the point where I last saved my game, so I just started it over. And since you were just before the last boss, it'll probably be more rewarding to start over

I say start a new file. It just doesn't feel right if you continue playing after not playing the game for a while. It's also a lot better as FFIX is a long game so starting again would really help you get into it.

since its definitely one of the best final fantasies with one of the best stories, i definitely reccomend starting over and getting the full experience

Either way, the game is completely enjoyable to play again. Finish the game off if you want, and then start a new file.. Or just start over at once. =X

Good idea on going back for another go-'round. Even if you didn't find it to be that pleasant the first time, if you've forgotten why it failed to meet your expectations, maybe you'll enjoy it a bit/lot more this time.

Yeah, start a new game, I say. I've replayed this game many times and thoroughly enjoyed it. So yeah, restart it and you'll understand the plot more than just continuing where you are now.
