I'm not a huge fan of Tarantino generally (though most movies have great scenes in them), but I agree that this movie is fantastic.

tarantino is probably my favourite director. i love how he makes films for himself first, and doesn't give a damn about whether or not anyone else likes them. he's also pretty much created an entirely new genre of his own in the last 20 years. his films have a beautiful and very recognisable style that just about every director in the world wishes that they could pull off, but none can. no one else can make keep an audience so interested for two hours with so much dialogue

I think Tarantino is the kind of director I'd probably get more from if I watched the movies again. Now that I'm more familiar with his style, I'd probably get more out of the movies of his that I have seen. I've enjoyed what I have seen, but I've not held them as highly as a lot of people seem to. Perhaps on a second viewing I would appreciate more of them.
