Sephiroth vs. Kefka

*Haertless Angel and Fallen One at the same time*

KEFKA: Ohoho! How Dreadful!
SEPHY: GR! You damn clown!

KEFKA: Dancing MAd is better! mommas boy!

(i dont think they would join up. do you)

hah, both would win!!!!...jk
Sephy would kill him like in one move. THUNDAGA!!!!
and kefka would so die after that.

I went with Sephiroth. Kefka was a maniac, and he was good with magic; I'll give him that. But Sephiroth was truely driven by his own desire for power. Kefka wanted control of the world; Sephiroth wanted to destroy it. I call that true madess. XD

I vote for Sephiroth on account of his ambition and maniacal genious.

Kefka, the god of magic being killed by a simple Bolt 3, i don't think so buddy. It's quite laughable how you don't have your facts straight keeping a fanboyish/girlish mind clouds of what the other side has.

Kefka controlled the universe being it's god, while sephiroth barely scratched the surface of a planet with a meteor, plus the fact that he just went crying because his "mommy" was not being taken care of correctly and such on so forth. it felt like he just rolled with what came to sephiroth and did get the key but did jack shi- with it, while kefka used to be a general of armies and a great strategist while being a mortal before he was infused with magiktech causing him to brink insanity and snap becoming the court mage to the emperor gestahl planning everything out and then used him to not only absorb the source of magic but destroys the planet and becomes the god of the universe itself only half way through the game.

now can you say that sephiroth still did something significant besides stabbing a unarmed flower girl in the back with no decency to laugh afterwords and forever tormenting some emo boy or have i changed your mind :3

In fairness, Kefka did manage to disfigure the world, something Sephiroth didn't achieve.

Both would be scary as adversaries, with Seph being ruthless and calculated and Kefka being unhinged.

As a villain I prefer Sephiroth to Kefka, but in a fight between the two I'd have to say the overpowered Kefka sneaks it. That's not to say he's the better fighter, just overpowered.

Kefka. and I would pretty much repeat what Rubenflonne said.

I personally think Sephiroth is very overrated. Don't get me wrong, he was a very interesting villian, but his fans make him out to be way more than he was. I'd put Kuja above him too.

As far as damage went, Sephiroth did not do much in comparison to Kefka. He summoned a large meteor to hit the Earth, however, this was stopped by the end of the game. And he stabbed a girl in the back. Also Cloud defeated him in the Mako reactor long before the story of VII even began.

In short, Kefka became a God, Sephiroth became an angel.

I would say Kefka as well.
I wouldn't consider what each of them 'accomplished' though because that is not clearly indicative of who they were or what potential each really might have had.

Sephiroth, to me, just seems like a hurt, vengeful, angry and confused child.
Kefka on the other hand, knows what's going on. He's in control. And although both of them lost in the end, Kefka is more evil because he smiles and laughs at what he's doing. He's more sinister and cunning, thus making me believe that if he and Sephiroth were ever to come to blows, he would find some way to have the one-up on Sephiroth before he even knew what was coming.

Sephiroth is WAYYY more evil than Kefka. The image Kefka made for me was a laughing, hilarious cliche evil-doer.

Sephiroth murdered a praying girl! A PRAYING GIRL! That's as evil as they come. Not to mention, I can take Sephiroth more seriously just because guys with makeup on don't scare me. In a matter of fact, I hate Clowns and Kefka doesn't even creep me out. Sephiroth might have long hair, but I'd never mock that in front of him.

Huh? Kefka mind controlled a girl for several years and used her power for his own plans. He also murdered an entire town by poisoning the water, children among those that were killed (Cyan's wife and child). He backstabbed his emperor when it was convienent, and finally, he put the world into ruin which further killed even more people (probably half the world's population was killed) Afterwards, he became the God of that world and ruled it with fear. And he anhilated entire villages for going against him. And he did it all while laughing.

Sephiroth does not even hold a candle to how evil Kefka was and most of Sephiroth's actions were movtivated by a misunderstanding. Sure he killed a praying girl, but Kefka killed so many more and was far more cruel.

And how can you not take a guy that put an entire world in ruin and then later ruled over it as a God seriously D:. And a little random, but did you not take the joker from The Dark Knight seriously? He was very simular to Kefka and just about as psychotic.

In KH, Kefka probably. Sephiroth is a magnificent villain, but Kefka is the type that's always 15 steps ahead of you.

Sephiroth just wants to defeat Cloud and maybe Sora now that he's lost twice to him and could care less for Radiant Garden, but Kefka would find a way to reach the world's keyhole and send the heartless in it. Perhaps not destroy it, but rather rule the world with an iron fist. That's the way I see it.

If Kefka will indeed be in KHIII, I hope he doesn't pop in as a random character. Make him a main villain, or at least a superboss. :)
