or rather, Saint's Row: The Third is said to be coming out this Holiday Season for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Issue 216 - April 2011 of Gameinformer Magazine elaborates on how the game will change slightly from a MAD version of Grand Theft Auto to an Action RPG... of sorts.

I don't exactly know what they define as "this holiday season" but I'm very psyched for the game, as Saints Row 2 is probably one of the best games I've ever bought for 20 USD.

wow, that really does look amazing. I was hoping the game would be coming out this year, but I guess it's something to look forward to sometime next year.

but uh

Definitely the most fun time during a demo of any game I have ever had was with Saints Row: The Third which I will touch on later. Below is a video interview regarding the game with the Technical Designer, Rusty. I also got to meet the number one Saints Row fan, Heather Spears and the Saint Row Pimp, which again more on that later. The game developed by Volition Games is due out later this year for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

So... uh, yeah. Annnnnyone else out there planning on playing this game? :wacky:

or mayyyyyyyyybe just want to talk about it? :monster:

I played it a little bit on my PC before my Graphics Card was shorted out, and I really like that fully upgrading your car pretty much makes it a tank.

I'd get annoyed in Saints Row 2 when I ran someone over and it knocked out one of my lights. or that my car looked like a piece of shit after blowing a few cars up with nitrous boost.

the chicks are a lot less fugly. I took a look on the Saints Row site, and someone even made a character that looks like Velma from Scooby-Doo haha.

I just saw a very nice gameplay trailer of the game, and they said that u start with your stats at max from the beginning...also loads of $$$...is that true?
Waiting for my brother to buy it :santa:

Well, you have a lot of your weapons and etc. but you have to buy upgrades to your character's aptitude with money. I.E., there are a lot of weapon upgrades, 3 health upgrades, 3 health regen upgrades, 3 sprint upgrades, etc.

Its kind of like playing an action RPG.

Still having a blast with the game so far, my only real upset is that they changed the controls from the formats that they had in Saints Row 2, so I had a lot of trouble driving well and still do.

I can't tell you how many times I've thrown a grenade when I meant to sprint and how long it took for me to learn how to do a drive-by :wacky:

My only real issue with the game is the utter lack of variety in terms of weapons they have now. I was expecting a lot more in terms of selection, but I've definitely found what works best for me, I guess.

I can't say I had any trouble with the controls, either. It seemed really very fluid right off.

I think as long as you come in expecting lighthearted, mindless gameplay you'll be quite satisfied.
