[Abstract Debauchery]

This is the MMORPG that I left PW for. (PW was getting rather stale and boring. I lost all patience for it and started playing this instead.) I'm rather happy that I did, because I've been having loads of fun with this game.

It's got a rather awesome class system in the fact that you can be anything that you want. Wanna be a Mage with a Druid subclass? NO PROBLEM. Bored of Mage, wanna be a warrior instead? NO PROBLEM! You can change classes at any time, and mix any two together for a unique experience.

Guilds in this game are pretty awesome. You can build your own guild castle for your guild to hang out at, and they're pretty huge. You are also allowed to have your own house. You can also decorate it the way you want.

All of this for a free MMO, and it has a CHEAP fucking Cash Shop. I'm very glad I switched.

Quick question, since I have honestly no idea what is meant by this: what do you mean by Cash Shop? And do you have to download/install anything to play it?

Cash Shop is used in free MMO's as a way for them to generate profit. Usually, they sell items not found in game. Such as special costumes, items, mounts, and those type of things. Most games have expensive cash shops. RoM is incredibly cheap compared to other MMO's.

Also, yes. It's a huge fraking download. (Totally worth it though.)

I downloaded this and the stupid thing wouldn't finish downloading for some reason. But it looked like a seriously fun game, I might give it a retry, what server are you on?

I play on the Reni server. Also, those updates will take a bit. Just leave it alone and it should finish... EVENTUALLY.

Also, for all the UK people, when you sign up, say you live in the US. Don't ask, just do it. That way you can play on the US server with the rest of us awesome people.

These were made during Closed Beta, so they may be inaccurate, but not much has changed graphically except for some optimization.

*Integrated Intel GPUs have issues with games. They are designed for economy not performance and cause issues with games. There is a good chance the game wont run on Intel GPUs.
**The only requirements we could find listed the ATI Radeon 6200 which doesnt actually exist. The 9600 is the equivilant of the GeForce 5700 so we will go with this for now.
***This Spec doesn't mean what version of DX you have installed, it means which version your video card Supports, but you still need to install the latest version. I.E: you can have DX10 but your card is only DX9c, DX10 features will not work.

Reni got it, I just restarted the download hopefully it wont take forever and a day. Anyway do you know if the Knight is a good class? I was considering that, I dont really care for magic classes although I might choose Mage as my second class. So I can have a uber strong guy that can also use magic.

And it looks I should be okay with the specs, maybe I just didn't give enough time to download. Sometimes I tend to be a little impatient.

I haven't played as a Knight yet. However, from what I've heard it's a pretty solid class. I'm going for a Mage/Druid myself. Seeing as I always play the Mage class.

Well the Knight seems to a spot on remake of the paladin class....and I love playing as a Paladin. So that is totally for me, its funny kind of I do the same thing. In games like this I am usually a fighter class with a little magic abilities and I almost never use a full on magic class. I guess it is just what I like.

Ooh looks interesting, I love class swapping. One of the last MMOs I played featured that: Dream of Mirror Online and it was hella fun. I sort of miss it sometimes but yeah I'll try this out.

I've been itching to play a badass Warrior.

EDIT: Scratch that, the Scout class has stolen my heart. I just realized that I haven't played with an Archer in a long time in any of the MMOs I've tried out recently. They're nimble but they still possess some strength to hold their own. Yup, I'mma firin' mah arrows.

Played with Avvin a little today before I had to take off. It was fun while it lasted. Though, I can't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't 1 hit the shrooms.

That was quite weird considering you were quadruple their level. Anyway like he said it was fun meeting up with someone from here and playing with them, hopefully we can do it more often. I think I got up to about level 7 and am doing quests in the next town.

So far, I've been in two Guild Sieges, and I've won them both. They're quite fun. Also, it was nice talking to you today, Aavin. Even though we couldn't talk long as the Seige was starting in 30 minutes. XD

Also, it's very creepy how addicting this game is. I've never been drawn to a MMO like this before. I can literally sit down and play this for hours. Hell, tonight after the Siege, I went into an abandon mine and solo'd a quest. It was fun. I got lost, and was in there for about an hour. I haven't had that much fun in a MMO... Ever. O_O
