RPG Images Suggestion Thread

Post here any images you'd like to suggest being used in the RPG!

Anything from backgrounds to map legends to weapons, spells, NPCs, monsters, anything!

For backgrounds get them as close to 640x480 in size

weapons icons and such, unless much mistaken should be around 75x75

Monsters and NPCs should be around the 200x200/300x300 region unless much mistaken

Most importantly, if possible can these images be rendered so we can better use them (finding someone with the time to render images can take a while)

Note: Even though you post images they won't always be used (nor immediately) however, any images put forward are appreciated and will be considered for future use. Also, make sure all images are hyperlinked as we don't want to slow down the server with mass images, thanks ;)

If I recall correctly...backgrounds were used around the size of 800 x 500 unless the requirements were changed for this new game.

The icons work better around 75 x 50 and even 100 X 65.... but the height shouldn't be greater than 80 (unless you want a very stretched battle log screen).

Monsters definitely should stay under 200x200 for normal monsters with an exception of 250x250 for boss monsters.

But anyways, I know that Damon knows this, but I would like to offer my services to make icons.

Just make sure you send a decent, clear, and good quality, picture or else it will be a pain to render it. Capiche?

It might take me around four to five days to have them ready since I have other stuff to do.

If you want an example of what I can do....well check the icon for Jecht's blade currently being used in the RPG (I made it large because I wanted a big ass blade >=( so buhhhh)

Well as a payment....well REP points would suffice =D
 
Background sizes depended on the area - if the area contained loads of NPC's, Shops etc, then it would extend the page. If it were monster areas then you'd need a smaller picture.

Thanks, but I'm not really trying to out-do anybody, just trying to help any way I can, I have played Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, so I was aware of these cool sprites, and they are from a truly epic game. :awesome:
 
They all keep saying permission denied, Bolt :thehell: I wanna see the Phantom Brave sprites :gonk:
 
That's funny...I can click on any one of them and see all the sprites, but I ain't nobody special, you should be able to as well... :hmmm: Don't know what the problem would be. :ness:
 
Ok guys, I was searching for pictures and here are a few I managed to slightly alter for the usage of our RPG Inferno. (I posted the images because I wanted to see how they looked on FFF background)

Those are great. I hope my sprites as well as Bolt's can be used in the RPG.
Oh, and @RPG Directors: There is an old thread I made called RPG Inferno Image Suggestions Thread which has quite a few suggestions from a lot of members. Consider using them as well.

That first weapon pic, the one that is like Cloud's sword in Advent Children, is epic. :D I definitely think that should be added to the weapon icons in the RPG, no question about it, that thing is made of 100% win. xD
 
You can ask a Director to merge both threads to avoid losing those entries. Also, can a Director bring his ass right here to save and upload the images? :vikki:

EDIT: Those spell icons are epic but Bolt, I get permission denied too
