So, here is another Fantasy RPG game.

The battle system is real time, and there are really NO load times within changes.

If any of you have played this game, what do you think of it?

I haven't played it yet but it looks good, it looks similar to tales of symphonia battle style or is it better?

I seen this after I purchased VP2 and was very tempted to make a swap. But Im not too keen on real time battles, but the thought of over 100+ hours of gameplay and unique weapon making sounds coolio.

yeah, from what I have seen it looks like a must but so, me being a sucker for real time battles is going to buy it ASAP

Oh, I reallyyy love this game. I say it's a must get, really.

The customization on weapons and the nice graphics. It's really good. Plus, the story line is done quite nicely. I had rented it first and maybe that's what you need to do first.

I am actually wanting to go out and get it today. haha.

Yeah, but once you get Kisala's swimsuit, The Dorgenedge, and Jaster's captain uniform, the it just insn't the awesomest game anymore.

I really hated how after you got out of the jungle and went to Zerard it got so god damn hard to battle. O yes, after you beat the game I think that if you hold down R1 you can get the costumes you've obtained after beating the game. For me, the Jungle Coat for Jaster was made of Epic win.

I was tempted to buy this game but it has received fairly mixed reviews and probably slightly edging on the bad side rather than good. Since it has just been released in the UK this month, I would rather wait rather than pay full price for a game that I'm not entirely sure I would enjoy.

Oh, you'll enjoy it if you liked games like the tales of symphonia. Most indefinitely. :monster:

but what about battles and the battle movement? do you just end up in a square battlefield or is it more free roamed and with battle movement is is in a forward or backward movement or full movement like in tales of the abyss?

It had gotten really hard to battle? What exactly do you mean by that?

To answer your question FFguy the battle system is pretty much free roamed. At least, I think it was.

okay, thanks for the info, hopefully it will be good ^_^

how long has this game been out for anyway?

I liked died six times trying to get out of that place. I was like, only level 12. >:(

The battlefield is what you see. Enemies approach you, you kill them there and still explore the map. It's pretty awesome stuff, imo.

Kisala's boobies get bigger when you put her in the swimsuit. xD

You battle in that area and there is no screen changes. =D. Awesome stuff.

Look it up on Neoseeker as well. This game has been out since like the beginning of April or May. Something like that. It's $39.99 here.

Purchased it yesturday and my PS2 decided to die, so I have to get a new PS2 in order to play it :(

And FFGuy, can you please stop commenting on every reply. Its nice youre asking questions about the game, but cant you do that in 1 post instead of several different ones after each comment made?

That really sucks, SS. It's an amazing game. I wouldn't say it's about 100 hours long, but more likely 65-70 hours long. Entertaining nonetheless. I really want to go get it now since it's one of the really fun games I beat without cheating.

Yeah, truyl does suck. I thought it was about 100+ cause thats what the box said. False advertising lol! But yeah, the aniamtion looks coolio and I seen some boss battle demos, really does look like a good solid RPG. Its number one in some computer game shops here in the UK for PlayStation.

Fingers crossed I can play it tonight!

The First part of the game is quite a bit of a nuisance. You get some of the most annoying enemies for your first miniboss. Just... Right after you cross the broken bridge with the dude covered in cloths, save because you're probably going to die until you learn the basics of the gameplay really well. xD
