Resident Evil- Outbreak....File 1

The group of three people left the prison and walked into the dog pound area, five cages had been broken and two were still occupied with raging dogs trying to break free. Sense it seemed they would not be able to get out, Michael ignored them.

Just standing in front of them was a lit which led to the sewers down bellow, unfortunately it was bolded shut, probably someone else had blocked it from the inside...

Rick:"Ahhh man give me a break!!! They blocked the only way out, shit we are so screwed man..."

"There as to be another way inside...look we can need to go back up, there ain't a direct access down here. Perhaps we can find some other escape track if we go up there."

Michael was not confident at all about going back into the 1st Floor of the Police Station, but staying down bellow waiting for something good to happen would not work either. Moving faster they went back into the parking lot, four of the former deceased police officers were now standing, but they ran right past them as there was enough space to manouver and avoid contact. After walking back inside the corridor which granted access to the 1st floor, they were met with yet another skinless monster, it was standing on the ceiling near the place were Michael had killed the first one. Waisting no time he drew his magnum and shot straight at the creatures head blowing it, Ricks face had turned white after seeing the gorilla sized monster.

Rick:"Go-G-G-What the ****?"

There was no time to explain what those things were, not that either Kate or Michael could explain it anyway, so they kept running until they reached the ladder and walked back into the 1st floor, only to be met with seven flesh eating zombies, they had found their way inside the station by using the broken windows, having no time to think Michael ordered Kate and Rick to stand back as he got closer to the walking dead, using his handgun he shot the first two right in between the eyes, they fell on the ground and stopped moving for good, three others stood in his path but with pin point accuracy he shot them in the head as well, more bodies filled the floor...There were only two left, deciding that he had to save bullets Michael fought them using his combat knife, he sent his knife flying through the air like an arrow hitting the first zombie in the forehead, knocking him out, the last zombie got ready to bite him but he dodged to the left and grabbed his neck twisting it, the cracking noise filled the corridor, after retrieving his knife Michael told the other two to follow him, just as they were about to leave two more zombies climbed over the window and into the corridors floor, and behind them nine more followed. Running for their lifes they went back into the office area and used a Coca Cola vending machine to block the door, hoping that it would hold for a while, as they got away from the door they could hear the zombies pounding it hard...

A nervous Kate was now in tears asking what they would do next, Michaels brain was moving as fast as it could, then he remembered that Sarah and another survivor were still in the hallway, so they left the office area and rushed to the main entrance hall of the RPD, but as soon as they opened the door...

Rick:"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Close it!!! Close it!!!"

The main hall was filled with zombies, there were probably at least forty or more, Michael took one glance inside and noticed a group of ten zombies ripping RPD officer Sarah body into pieces, the front door was blown up, who could have done such a thing? Some crazy lunatic?

Quickly they closed the door and rushed inside the office again, they were trapped like rats, the zombies would break the doors and walk inside eventually, there was only one place left to go...the 2nd Floor, and so it was that they went back up the ladder where Michael battled the ruthless monster, could they find another way out in time? Or would they end up as a fresh meal for their pursuers?

"COME! We don't have much time! Let's reach the hospital before it's too late!"

Sirus was puzzled now. By all respects he should've become a zombie hours back. At least if anything that he'd seen in the zombie movies was true.

"No..."

He had said so quietly that it was barely audible at first.

"Listen... these bite marks... they've been here for a while... Seriously, there's no need to trouble yourself. I'll be fine."

In all respects, he should've been changing by now. There was no quivering, no muscle weakness, none of the symptoms that he had witnessed in his peers prior to zombification.

...So why wasn't it working on him? Better yet, why had his wounds healed up so quickly?

"But if you wanna' be safe... we could go. Frankly, I'd rather be out of the city more than anything. though."
 
"If you say so...but I am going to the hospital anyway..."

William finished gathering his gear before exiting the Control Room. Once outside, William walked downstairs until reaching a darkening passageway. William pulled out his map, and noticed the sign on the wall, it was evident that this path would lead to the street just before the Hospital's main entrance. He placed the map back in his pockets and drew both his flashlight and handgun, continuing to walk through the tunnel and venturing into the unknown. His footsteps on the cold steel floor could be heard echoing through the sewers. The fetid stench of the black waters below was seemingly unbearable, obviously not the most pleasant place in the world, still it was better than walking on the streets above, exposed to all kinds of dangers like that horde of bloodthirsty monsters. As he walked, William could not avoid giving some thought to what Sirus said before about his bite marks, and how he had not shown any symptoms.

Not showing any symptoms? How is that possible? I've seen my friend turning into beasts hours after being infected? What could be different in this case? William questioned himself countlessly as his suspicion towards Sirus grew by the second. If what Sirus had said was true, his health was supposed to deteriorate until fully succumbing to the virus. Something about this revelation troubled William as he reached a crossed tunnel. To his left, right, and before him lied tunnels leading to different parts of the city, one of them leading to the park, the other to the Hospital, and the last one to the Zoo.

The one to the left had a sign above the entrance of the left tunnel, it had the code "H-47". William quickly pulled out the map again, and saw that the short for "Hospital-Tunnel 47". It seems that the sewers were like a web of tunnels, a maze below the city that connected most areas. Nevertheless, what sufficed now was knowing that tunnel to the left does leads to the Hospital. William hoped, not to find any setback like finding a blocked passage, which would prove to be quite unfortunate for him.
 
Running for their lives, the three survivors could not open the 2nd floor door ,as it had been damaged earlier on, they could hear the moans getting closer and soon enough a horde of flesh eating undead started to climb up into their direction, Michael grabbed his sub machine gun and opened fire taking down five of the nearly one hundred zombies who were getting closer and closer until...

Rick:"OVER HERE THERE'S A LADDER!!!!"

Michael looked back and saw a small ladder near the police station water tank, if they climb it they could reach the roof. Not thinking twice they started to climb up, Michael was the last and he nearly got his leg bitten by one of the cannibal freaks. Luckily for them the monsters were too stupid to walk up the ladder. They were now on the roof and standing a few feet away was a window which allowed them to get inside the 3rd floor.

There was a small breeze coming from the north and with it came the moans and growls of the walking undead, there were no sounds of bullets like there were a few hours ago, only the moans...Raccoon City was lost, a dead town with dead people...

The three of them looked down and the surroundings of the police station, more and more zombies were getting near, could they sense their presence? The front door had been destroyed and zombies were pushing around trying to get inside, others were punching the windows trying to break in, and the courtyard was packed with them, there was no way they could escape through there.

So the 3rd Floor of the RPD was their only choice since it seemed the monsters had not yet reached it...
 
Sirus was in a more of a rut now than he had been the last time he had come across those filthy rot-boxes. True, he wasn't risking getting face eaten off, because he had more important issues to deal with: Withstanding the malodorous and mephitic stench of the sewer. He had to stop himself from time to time as Leon advanced to clear his head, before risking being overcome and overpowered by the stench. Even at this very moment, his head swam lightly.

Still there were other things on his mind. The I.Q. tests that he'd been taken out of class for didn't betray his intelligence or insight.

There were other hazards to put with aside from the stench. Most immediately, the viral/ bacterial risk was incredible. They were now at the mercy of microbes, their only line of defense being a frail human immune system. One open cut would be enough to compromise the uneasy integrity of their already weakened systems. If baceterial strains didn't get them either, then the possibility of zombie juice didn't seem that far off.

If was difficult to contemplate this, dealing with the stench and advancing at the same time. A normal citizen such as he, compared to a trained S.T.A.R.S. professional such as Leon was lucky enough to even make it this far. He decided to take a silent rest. He'd double up soon enough and play the catch up game.

Still the bottom line remained that the longer they stayed down here, the more they were at risk. He would've moved faster if he didn't have to stop every couple of minutes to avoid retching.

"H-47".

"Wait a minute Leon!!!"

His voice even surprised him, but he couldn't back down now. As quickly and as lucidly as he could under such debilitating circumstances, he ferreted through his bag for rounds, un-holstering the rifle that had taken him so long to get a hang of.

"Here, take this rifle, i'll explain in a second"

In the meantime, he shot through his backpack yet again for for any remaining handgun rounds, carfulle loading and checking his pistol.

"Listen Leon, we're in an even worse situation right now."

There weren't any jams or snags tha appeared present in the gun, and it seemed to be in fine shape, despite such atmospheric conditions.

"So let's assume that everyone is screwed... just to be reallistic. If, then there might be even more of thos things! Especially the morgue! If they're down here with us, then we'll have to fight our way up stairs, which will be even more dangerous. We'd tactically be at a huge disadvantage againts those things. The joint could be crawlin' with the bastards!!"

He couldn't believe what he had just said. Sirus had referred to friends, family and coworkers as "they" and "them".

"I-Im sorry, it's just that I want to make sure that we're prepared. Hell, there could be some of 'em down here right now."

And with that, Sirus drew his pistol, shaking arm and all.

Leon place his handgun in its holster and took the rifle Sirus offered him. The rifle model was a M-16, with grenade launcher included and laser sight. Cautiously, Leon headed even further as he aimed his M-16 to any suspicious spot, not willing to allow himself to be caught off guard. Eventually, they arrived to a dead end, the only possible exit being a small ladder leading to an aluminum door. Leon went upstairs and tried to open the door, yet the doorknob did not turn.
"Well we have a problem...the door is locked...I guess we could either: A) Blow the door with a grenade and take the risk, or B), try to open it by other means. What do you suggest?"

"Well do you know where we could find a key?Seriously dude, it's like it's just one dilemma after another!"

He rubbed his chin medittively in thought, because it was a lose-lose situation.

"Alright, i'm goping to suppose that it'll all depend on how good you are with that thing. Assuming that there are in fact zombies within the hospital, blowing the door might attract zombie attention from within the hospital, though i'm not fully sure if they can hear or smell yet. blowing the door also present serious harm to us. When ya' think about it, the sound'll just revereberate offo f the sewer tunnel walls, bringing god-knows-what to us."

He stopped to take a break from speaking for a moment. There was so much troubling him: the dilemma at hand, his loved ones, the stench in the sewer, and whatever the hell might be in either the sewer or the hospital. Being a genius was overwhelming to the mind and soul at times.

"But... on the other hand... lookin' for another way means that we gotta' go through all this shitwater again, and I can't begin to point out the number of hazards in the sewer aside from the stench n' filth. Staying down here too much longer without the right equipment could kill us!"

Excelsior...

The term came to his mind. It was a tough decision to make, but probably the best bet for the moment.

The feculent stench of raw and rotting sewage might've had a hand in swaying his decision.

"I think that the door is gonna' be our best bet for now. But we don't have to use a grenade. Since you're one a' those elite agents, so there' got to be another way right?"

Quickly sizing up his companion, he noted, that he looked pretty strong. After all, elite agents had to be in top shape to survive. Assuming that he was able to survive this long, SIrus quicklly noted that Leon was probably one of those "on man army" badasses more than strapped enough to take Vietnam in a rematch. Yet, if that was the case, then why was he wasting histing with a lowly civvie such as he? Was it really his intention to keep him alive?

'Wait! We could pick the lock or kick the door down. That way, our entry might not attract too much attention! That is unless you want to kill more of those things..."

"Wait a second..."

Leon remembered pulled a few tools from his pocket and knelt before the doorknob. He then used the tools to attempt to pick the lock, but it would take time. "Watch my back....I'll handle this..." Leon was sweating, the amount of heat felt down in the sewers was enough to wear down anyone easily, still for some reason Leon managed to stay conscious. After half an hour, the locked was already open, and Leon and Sirus were now able to leave the sewers. "Sirus! Let's go...."

Everything seemed calmed, perhaps too calmed, which made Leon feel somewhat nervous. For an instance, Leon thought that maybe they were being followed, and if so, they never noticed. For once, Leon's fears came true.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps, the sound made Leon think that, whatever was coming from the other end of the tunnel, was running towards them, and amazingly fast. From the darkness, Leon sighted the long, sharp, blood covered, tongue which was one of the characteristics present in "lickers". Quickly, Leon grasped the M-16 and aimed it to the approaching beast's head, which was behind Sirus. The bullets went over Sirus' left shoulder, hitting the "licker's" exposed jaw.

"Sirus, come on! I'll cover you. Get through the door as soon as possible!"

Without hesitation, Leon unloaded a bast flurry of rounds on the lickers, but the worst was about to come. Inexplicably, huge mutant spiders, zombies and many of those hideous beasts approached them from the darkest reach of the tunnel. Leon managed to keep them away with his M-16, but it was evident that they needed to get out or else they would be overrun. While shotting, Leon sighted that another licker was heading straight towards Sirus, so Leon quickly aimed his gun to the licker and unloaded a grenade round, the explosion sent the licker crashing against the wall in a burst of blood, and torn tissues.

"Sirus! Get out already!"
 
"Dammit!"

Hideous sins against nature were the last thing that Sirus expected as a hail of gunfure let loose over his shoulder. He barely had time to pick up his gun before his feet began moving on his own.

Maybe it was black people anda history of avoiding gunfire? Maybe it was the creatures coming out so unexpectedly in such disadvantageous quarters?

Most likely, it was his natural survival instinct kicking in. He dropped to the ground, running for the door as close to the ground as possible.

Then suddenly, he heard a loud boom!

He hadn't even heard Leon's voice, until it was too late. Had he been bitten? Why was he covered in blood?

Only three feet from the door...

He was going to dive for it!

Sweat rolled down his forehead, as the aiming notch of his handgun scraped along the cement floor.

Time seemed to slow down...

Boring his weight down on his knees, he leapt for the door!

Grabbing for the doorknob, he realized that it was locked. There was the look of a trapped wild animal in his eyes, as desperation turned into terror.

"Fuck, it's locked! Hold on dude!"

It didn't take as long as he had expected though, and the hinges, door and all, crashed to the ground. What he hadn't anticipated though, was that there was another licker crawling along the ceiling!

Sirus reacted quickly enough to avoid a direct shot for his neck, but quickly enough to to avoid being pinned. He wasn't so lucky the next time, because it caught Sirus across the neck with it's claws. It'd missed his arteries by a millimeter. Adrenaline fueled his thinking, and he managed to wrestle his arm free enough to draw his knife, and plunged it deeply into it's spine. It shrieked loud enough to wake the dead, and with one last spasm, died.

Sirus crawled out from under the body, and got up onto his feet the best he could. The had lost more blood than expected, and as such had to lean upon the wall. He was bruised, cut and bleeding freely.

But he was victorius! Some of the deeper wounds were already beginning to heal up already, and his blood loss wasn' bad enough anymore to affect his aim.

Lifting his handgun, he took aim at a licker behind Leon, braining it in one clean shot.

It was a lucky shot really, but he had just noticed that Leon was really good with the rifle...

As the situation got worse, Leon was starting to lose faith, after all, if the sewers were like this, what about the streets above? Desperately, Leon shot down as many of those beasts as he could, but he wouldn't be able to hold on much longer. He needed Sirus to get out, and fast. "Sirus! The door is open! get inside the Hospital! I'll distract them...." Leon yelled as he continued to fire his M-16 accurately at the horde of beasts that kept flooding the sewers. Suddenly, Leon had an idea. Though risky, maybe he would be able to stop them if he used grenade launcher again, this time aiming to a crack on the ceiling. Sighing, Leon aimed his gun to the ceiling and unloaded a single, grenade round. As soon as the projectile hit the ceiling, the crack began to expand and the sewers started to tremble. Just as Leon had expected, the walls around them began to collapse. Now their only hope was getting through the door before being crushed under the debris.

Sirus took off with a start, heading for the door at full speed. The hospital lay beyond the door.

He stopped abruptly before the door. Somewhere in the back of his mind existed the urge to save Leon. By all accounts, the gun seemed burdensome to a hurried escape, while the man showed no signs of stopping the fight.

"Yo! Hurry the hell up Leon! We can get 'em all at the dooorway!"

Sirus bit down, hard, gritting his teeth. All of a sudden, the pressure had been turned on and he had no idea of how to deal with it yet. The adrenaline rush was thankfully high enough to make him forget his sense of smell, hence eliminating the debilitating sewer stench. Entering the hospital basement door, and turning the corner revealed a blue painted sign pointing to the left and a forked path, reading: "Morgue"

To right lay the stairs, which made him uneasy. The lights were on, yet there wasn't a soul to be found. Janitorial equipment lay scattered haphazardly about... leaning against a nearby wall, he drew his pistol to eye level to take aim.

But was Leon going to be okay?

Suddenly, Leon ran out of grenade rounds, leaving him only with enough M-16 magazines to fight his way out. The situation grew worse, the ceiling kept collapsing threatening to crush everything at range. Leon kept fighting though, ensuring Sirus's survival, but made one critical mistake: he forgot about his own safety As soon as he saw Sirus leaving through the door, Leon rushed desperately towards the door as well, but unfortunately, fate would not favor him this time. Just like he had feared, he was too late, for the falling debris had blocked the exit, leaving Leon trapped in the sewers. Soon the whole section collapsed completely, a cloud of thick dust was lifted, and foul waters ran through the place, flooding the entire section. Everything was crushed, not a single one of the monsters survived, they were dead, again.

Minutes later, Leon crawled from under the debris, gravely injured, but alive. He was covered in dust, his left shoulder had a few scratches and his own blood stained part of his clothes and bulletproof vest. After getting out of that mess, Leon found himself alone, the door leading to the hospital was blocked, and he couldn't go back through the tunnel for it was blocked as well. He sighed, losing all faith, even thinking of ridding himself of his own misery by putting a bullet on his own head. Then he thought: Would Jill ever forgive him if he committed suicide? No, probably not. He knew he had to survive, so he began to search his surroundings. Fortunately, he sighted a steel stair leading up, though he didn't knew where would it lead him. Nevertheless, he was willing to take the risk. Leon climbed the stairs, then pushed a small steel hatch, which he pushed to open it.

Finally, he had left the sewers, and found himself in a small room. He close the hatch to make sure nothing would follow, then he investigated the area. "Kitchen.....Hospital..." Two signs that Leon read revealed that he succeeded in his goal, he was finally inside the hospital. Sirus, he needed to find him and make sure he was alright. Determined to find him, Leon exited the kitchen and searched for Sirus.
 
It was really strange. There were obvioussigns of some sort of the disturbance. The scattered assortment of brooms, mops, and buckets were a clear indication. But what? Sirus pondered, as hunched down into a sitting position against the wall. Was there an evacuation?

For the moment, it seemed the most likely conclusion. But, if that were true, then there the morgue door would've been opened or busted or something along those lines.

Perhaps the people on the bottom level heeded the local warnings, and left town as soon as they could? Maybe they didn't make it ouut of the basement or first floor level?

Either way, staying here wasn't doing anything for him , alone in this emptied building. But it didn't seem as though they had been gone too long.

Finding out why the others left from before would probably be crucial to his survival. At least in that case, they he'd some sort of indication of what was going to happen next.

The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, and his whole body tingled with anticipation, and shivered out of fear. He was going to do something that got the dumb blonde kids killed in all of those horror flicks.

And all this time as he marched silently and apprehensively down the hall towards the morgue, he still had the time to marvel at how the horror movies he watched a couple of days back, were now becoming his life today.

5 feet...
4 feet...
3 feet...
2 feet...
1... foot...

He had approached the door. No sooner did he begin to approach the door, did he then see the reason for such a hurried janitorial evacuation:

The bodybags in the morgue were moving, and one had even slammed itself up against the bullet-proof glass through which he was looking!

"Shit! Shit! Geezus fucking christ!"

Screamed Sirus loudly to himself as he jumped back out of horror and surprise. He managed to calm himself down quickly.

Why weren't they attacking? Of course, because they could'nt get through the door! Which would mean that the mortician was more than likely dead. As creepy as it was, it didn't look like they had any way of getting through it. Still, he raced back to the chairs and janitoral equipment to brace up against the door. If the bastards were lucky enough to get through the door, then they'd be slowed enough to make a commotion, fumbling and stumbling their way through the cadre of door props, intended on further impeding them.

Walking up the stairs to the first floor, he was greeted by the sight of a man with his entrail ripped out of his stomach. A man of caucasian descent, with a tacky yellow plaid suit, smeared in blood. He could've been a car salesman, what with his slicked, greased-black hair do.

He was quite obviously in a state of transitioning: one between life, death, and zombification.

It was excrutiating to even look at him, as he struggled for breath. The air wouldn't come to him. More blood simply oozed out of his mouth.

But he did smile, calming himself down, as Sirus pointed the gun towards his forehead. Tears -his last- rolled down his bloodied face, as he grinned with what strength and humanity he had left in him as Sirus pulled the trigger.

Bang!

Sirus wiped off his own tears, as he headed up the staircase in search of Leon.
 
The situation was critical, every second waisted searching for a way to escape, brought the survivors closer to their grave. The three of them rushed to the window and Michael used his boot to break the glass so they could all jump inside.

Kate:"What do we do now!?"

Michael remembered that there was an old emergency path which led directly to the B1 Floor, it would be their best chance to reach the sewers that way.

"There's a secret path on that door on the far corner hurry inside!!!!"

The three survivors began to run as fast as they could, they were now on the 3rd floor balcony above the main RPD hall, bellow an horde of zombies looked up and moaned desperate to taste their flesh...just as they were about to reach the door a single gun shot was heard and Rick, the man who escaped with Michael and Kate from the prison, fell to the ground with blood gushing out from his chest, the poor guy never realized what happened to him as he was already dead when he crashed frozen into the ground. As Michael turned around he met eye to eye with Police Chief Irons, looking at him with a very sinister look...

"Chief!? What...the? Why did you shoot him!?"

Chief Irons smiled, he looked demented and out of himself...

Chief Irons:"Why? Ohohooo....was he not a prisoner? It was only my duty to terminate an escaping prisoner. I am a police officer you know..."

Kate was in panic and Michael didn't know what to say to that, not to mention that there was no time...but Chief Irons kept talking as if there weren't an army of living dead right behind him.

Chief Irons:"Michael i'm surprised you and that cute friend of yours are still alive...i can't imagine anyone surviving this chaos...it's all those Umbrella bastards fault they paid me to keep silent but now.. they ruined my city!!!! But i'll make them pay, yes i will."

Michael was furious, so the rumours about Irons being involved with Umbrella were true, that was why the police never moved against Umbrella because they controlled everything...

"YOU SON OF A *****!!!!! HOW COULD YOU SELL YOURSELF TO THEM!? YOU LUNATIC FREAK!!!!!!"

Chief Irons started to laugh...

Chief Irons:"Whoohohoho...this is my town i won't let anyone control it besides me, and i'm afraid that i can't let you go either...you see there are still a couple of souls running around the city. And i must set them free...i already killed a few officers and civilians on my way here. They looked at me in disbelief as i terminated them, but you see it was all for the future of my career. And now i'm afraid that...i will end your misery too."

His handgun was pointing right to Michaels chest, there would be no time to act but suddenly...crashing trough the ceiling a giant figure landed right between Michael and Chief Irons. It was the same monster Michael had battled two hours ago, it was still alive, it immediately set it's eyes at Michael but Chief Irons began screaming at the monster, was he insane?

Chief Irons:"YOU!!! DID THOSE BASTARDS SENT YOU TO FINISH THEIR JOB!?"

The creature looked at Chief Irons who began to unleash bullets on him but to no avail, in a matter of seconds the giant beast grabbed Irons by his head and lifted him into the air, Irons kept shaking but it was no use...the creature smashed his hand in between it's hands, the body of Chief Irons colapsed to the ground with blood gushing from his neck, the monster opened his hands and only parts of Irons skull and brains remained mixed, it was not a pleasant sight.

The monster quickly turned his attentions back on Michael, there was no sign that it was injured from it's previous encounter with Michael...how would he get out of this one?
 
Leon found himself inside the kitchen, and even seconds before opening the door, the foul stench of rotten corpses made breathing highly unbearable. Nausea almost took the best of him, yet he managed to get a hold of himself and made it through the kitchen, carefully passing by the decomposing bodies and avoiding to accidentally step on them. He placed his left hand over his nose and mouth while he aimed his 9mm Parabellum Handgun forward.

His nervous gaze shifted from side to side, trying to spot any possible threats that could possibly end his life in the blink of an eye. As he reached the other side of the kitchen room, Leon felt being watched, although he couldn't tell for sure if it he was being truly spied or it if it was just part of his imagination. Slightly hesitating, Leon grabbed the doorknob and slowly turned it, opening the door carefully as he went through the doorway.

Suddenly, Leon heard footsteps; the moans of those flesh eating monsters slowly approaching the area triggered his senses and almost instantly, he turned back against the wall and aimed his gun towards the other door from which he had gained access to the kitchen.

First their fists smacking the doors, then sounds of blood dripping on the floor, and finally...the door collapsed, splinters of what was left of that shattered door were scattered all over the place. And then they came, mindlessly pursuing their target, dragging their decomposing limbs and bodies.

Leon soon unloaded several rounds on their heads, shooting down as many as he could yet they were too many. Without losing any more time, Leon opened the door next to him and slammed it as he went through, locking the door after leaving the kitchen room.

Although sealed, he knew that the door alone wouldn't be enough to stop them, so he desperately searched all around him in hopes to finding anything to block the door. Leon then spotted a small iron bench, and with much effort, he dragged the bench and pressed it against the door, building a sturdy barricade that would surely win him a couple of more seconds.

Slightly relieved, Leon leaned his back against the wall and then slowly fell and sat on the dirty floor. Leon sighed as he pulled the magazine out of his gun, reached another one inside his pocket and then reloaded his handgun.

Leon was sweating; his heart beating vividly a hundred times per minute...
 
after waking up Stephen went straight into the Bathroom and turned on the shower, he got undressed and climbed in. Stephen spent around 20 minutes in the shower, washing his body and hair, he got out of the shower, dryed off and got on his jeans, T-shirt and hiking boots.

"hey Uncle james, whats for break fast" he shouted as he ran down the stair, to his shock Stephen's uncle and Aunt were nowhere to be seen "Aunt julie, where are you?" Stephen looked around the entire house and when he realized that they weren't in he looked out of the front window to check if the car was there, the site was terrifying the streets were littered with Dead bodies, and people walking around bleeding "Holy shit, what happened" Stephen announced as he ran upstairs to get his bag, first aid kit and phone.

He slipped his phone into his pocket, threw his first aid kit in his bag and threw his bag on his back, as he went back down stairs he realized that the people outside were beyond help and that they were also eating each other. he went back upstairs, inserted his Aunt's birthday into the safe and after opening it he grabbed his Uncles Baretta M9 pistol and slid it into his belt he grabbed the box of 30 bullets and put them in his bag. he then ran out of his house and ran towards the hospital. "if everyone is dying then the hospital might be the best place to find them" he thought to himself as he ran through the streets of racoon City avoiding getting within arm distance of anyone.
 
((I'm not actually finished with this one, yet I must post. So i'll get back to this one later.))

Sirus staggered up the staircase, which had admittedly seen much better days. Tiny beads of perspiration streaked down his forehead as he rounded the bend. He had more than good reason to be nervous, aside from the fact that the dead had arisen from the grave in an effort to consume and subsequently zombify the flesh of their victims. His clothing was still wet enough to create a stench. So if they zombies had in fact the ability to smell, then he'd soon find out. Whether or not they sti retained some of their senses in his mind would only be par for the course, as the odor was just enough to affect his concentration a little bit... and his movement. The air conditioning and ventilation system, along with the lights, had faltered for a moment.

It was time to get out of the hospital. Losing the ventialtion was one thing, but losing the lights -and therefore visibility- was a death sentence.

He had been lost in his fears as he climbed to the next floor. THe air was getting comparitively thinner, and warmer. Bloody signs of struggle lined the walls and the rails as he continued his ascent. His gun was ready, and he was absolutely certain that there was something rather nasty behind the staircase door waiting for him. His left index finger fondled the trigger...
 
As stephen ran around a corner he was grabbed by one of the many un-dead that were littering the street,s i'ts growns were very destinctive, it managed to push Stephen to the floor and fall ontop of him. there was a struggke, the zombie trying to bite Stephen's neck, Stephen holding it off with both hands "if you want to bite something that much" Stephen took his right hand off the Zombie's face and grabbed the beretta from his belt "Bite this!" Stephen the rammed the barrel of the beretta into the Zombie's mouth and squeezed the trigger.

The gun discharged into the Zombies mouth, in the upwards direction it was pointing it blew a hole in the top half of the Zombie's head, spraying brain matter and bone fragments into the air, Stephen couldn't believe what he had just done, it was amazing what a teenager ws capable off when put in a life or death situation, but Stephen had no time to cry about it now, in a matter of moments the corpse would be getting feasted on by it's un-dead companions so Stephen had to move.

Stephen finally arrived at the hospital, he kicked the double doors of the entrance open and slid the Beretta out of his belt again, "I have already killed one of those thing, if needs be I'll kill more" he then began cautiosly walking through the hospital "If anyone is alive come out, i need to know that im not the only survivor." he shouted "please someone, anyone, say something that isn't a grown"
 
"You paid ten dollars for the damn beer, you can go now!" Ailyn shouted in Italian at a drunk man who was apparently singing in Italian. "Damn drunkard," Ailyn muttered, washing beer bottles and putting them in place.

The Raccoon Pub was bustling with men and some women. Many were drunk and singing since it was a Friday. Men were banging their hands on the table, singing songs in different languages, or maybe just made-up ones. Women were talking to each other, smoking. Drunk women practically bumped into walls or slept in a corner. Ailyn really didn't like working on Fridays, but she had to, or else she wouldn't get the money from her boss.

Suddenly, a big crash overthrew the pub's rowdiness. Every turned silent, and turned their heads to wear the crash occured.

Ailyn, who nearly dropped a beer glass when she heard the crash, put down the glass and got out of her work station. "Now what the hell happened now?" Ailyn demanded, pissed off about how people could be so rowdy when they're drunk.

Ailyn approached the broken table, and to her horror, she found a man laying down in a demented way. His face was missing a few parts, and his skin was sickly gray. His smelled like he was started to rot. Blood was everywhere on him.

Ailyn luckily had her pair of HS2000, so she grabbed it from her hair (which she had cleverly hidden her HS2000s in) and aimed at the soon-to-be zombie.

The zombie soon started to twitch his face, and then let out a little growl. "Everyone," Ailyn ordered. "Back out, but not out of the pub. Now."

The zombie screamed, and jumped quickly just from laying down. It landed, baring its yellow-gray teeth at Ailyn. Ailyn continued to aim at him with one HS2000 in her left hand. Her right hand held her fingerless knuckle-studded gloves which she had forgotten to put on. She wouldn't be needing them, of course, unless the zombie preferred close-up combat.

Ailyn aimed at the zombie's head, circling around it while the zombie continued to growl. Ailyn cocked her gun and pulled the trigger. The zombie stopped growling, then it fell to the ground dead.

"Everyone out of this pub," Ailyn ordered,"And go home." Everyone in the pub left, murmuring about what just happened. Ailyn put back her guns in her belt and left the pub with the rest of the people. Ailyn thought she could go to an alleyway to find her way home easier, but while walking, she spotted a woman dragging herself, growling lowly. It spotted Ailyn as soon as she stopped. The zombie walked towards her, her eyes wide and evil.

Ailyn couldn't take out her guns now. She needed them to be loaded already. Ailyn was stupid enough to not realize that she still had 12 more rounds in one of her HS2000.

She ran, trying to find her way home, but she couldn't. She was stuck on a street; an abandoned street. Ailyn spotted a tall building that looked like it was some use to stay there. She ran through the street quickly and stopped at the building door. The sign read Raccoon City Hospital. Ailyn knew most hospitals were safe, so she entered to building with haste.

Ailyn ran, looking at doors of any, but none made her surprised. She spotted a stairway leading to the higher levels and the lower levels of the hospital. Ailyn chose the lower staircase, for she really wanted to just grab some food before making herself safe in the hospital.

So Ailyn walked down the staircase, tangling her fingers in her long hair. She was tired. She wanted to go home. But she had to stay here in order to make herself safe. She wished zombies never existed. She wished the UMBRELLA Corp. never existed. They were being too much of a threat to Raccoon City. Too much.

Suddenly, Ailyn heard moans coming from down the staircase. Ailyn drew both of her HS2000s, aiming them towards her. She carefully walked down the staircase, aware of what's going to happen. She feared an attack from above or from behind, so she aimed in all directions.

As Ailyn reached the bottom of the first staircase, what she expected was a horde of zombies. Instead, to her surprise, she found a man, struggling to keep a door sealed. The door was rattling, with moans being heard through the door. The rotted stench of the zombies flowed invisibly through the door, polluting the air around it.

The man who was struggling seem to be a S.T.A.R.S agent. Ailyn could tell by his vest, which had a logo of it on its back. He had short hair combed to the back. He was tall, but looked short due to his struggle holding the door.

Ailyn was suspicious. So she asked, aiming both her HS2000s at him, "Who the hell are you?"

Almost by pure instinct, Leon aimed his 9mm Parabellum to the young lady who had just arrived recently. For an instant, Leon thought he was surrounded by them; the fear of being eaten alive, his flesh torn bit by bit by those sharp teeth, made him distrust of anyone or anything.

Fortunately, Leon could notice that this young lady seemed too "human" to be one of "them", so he put away his gun and sighed in relief. Leon then stepped up from the floor, still gasping for air, as he tried to recover.

"I am sorry...I thought you were one of them..." Leon said as he turned his back on her. He knew he couldn't waste time with random conversations with civilians. "I am William Leonard Alex Kennedy...although people usually call me "Leon"....or "Alex".....I am sorry I can't stay, but I am quite in a hurry ....you can come if you wish...I am heading towards the heliport of this hospital....I heard an helicopter was going to arrive shortly...I just hope it is true...."
