Sirus was victorious against that mass. This much was true. What he didn't count were two things: the fact that the stench remained after waiting for half an hour and hosing it down, the abrupt realization that the door was probably locked.
The door was barricaded, covered zealously with tables, chairs and anything else one could get their hands on. The lock was a little less easy.
The doors were just going to have to be opened by force. A handfull of shells emptied of their gunpowder and poured into the keyhole would do the trick.
"Careful now, aim, steady, blam!"
