I was wondering if perhaps one of FFF's GFX artists may tackle a little task of removing some lighting effects from this render:

Wanting this to look as sharp as it can, and with the lighting effects, the bright, almost highlighted areas (mainly to his left side), and the areas with that inexplicable purple lighting, without the background to this these things seem like they really don't belong.

Basically Crimson Wolf, coloration wise, is a Black Wolf with some Crimson colored fur, that make up some unknown markings on the left side of his head (there is some dark purple that needs to be removed in the area of Crimson fur on his face as well, that should be purely Crimson colored).

Mainly for the right side (Crimson's left) just remove that purple lighting so it looks as it normally should, in no particular lighting. And it should be obvious what areas are bright, but if you have any questions, just ask. ;) The area around the back-side leading to the tip of his tail is particularly bright, almost white, so that definitely needs to be more noticeably Crimson colored, so it goes nicely with the rest of it.

Really just so the shading of the colors of him flow smoothly together and look natural, not highlighted as if light is beaming on him or something. Thanks in advance to anyone that takes a shot at this for me, I have in mind something to use it for, it should be the image for the Director Crimson (Crimson Wolf) in the RPG Inferno, that's why I want this to be just right. :monster:

its prettty much impossible to do tbh.
Your best bet, and im assuming your wanting a sig is to have someome make one and incorporate the lighting properly so it blends. That or find another pic.

There isn't some entirely different pic of that character, and I already had a sig made out the provided pic (render), I am planning on using the render for an image for the Director Crimson in RPG Inferno, so it's a little more than just another sig. :hmmm:

I just don't see how the brighter areas couldn't be gone over with a darker shade or something, and replace the purple highlighted areas with black, silver, or crimson/red (depending on which area).

But if this can't reasonably be done, I could go with this, I really wanted to see if it could just get touched up a bit to make it look more natural, as the lighting effects don't very well belong without the background. >.>

Its just not practical. Its not as simple as brushing over it with the right colour. Especially going by the small size of the image.
I just dont see anyone taking on this request >_<

Alright, sorry to take up everyone's time of whoever has read this request just to see it can't reasonably be done, I guess. >.> Well, thanks for your time and posting here, I appreciate that. ;)

Guess that will have to do, then. And it can't be too big because it will be an NPC/Monster image, if it was very large it was stretch the page/screen. ^^;

What i meant is. WHen images are bigger theyre easier to edit.
YOu can can zoom much further and it makes it far easier to adjust.
Tbh the purple isnt that noticeable and everything has a light and shadow anyway.
It looks fine dont worry about it :)

Thanks. And yeah, considering it's size, I guess it is fairly subtle, I don't really have much regret about using this with those lighting effects in it, after you made me think about it more. :monster:

Now to save it to the computer, because that's how it works. :wacky: Thanks again, I guess this thread is about done then, since what I have already is fine, and I suppose this request is pretty unreasonable, as it turns out. =P

I had a crack at it and this is what I came up with.

I was able to get rid of most of the purple but there is still a bit there. The tail was a challenge, this is the darkest I could make it without making it look too unnatural. If you want me to touch it up further then let me know. Also if anyone else wants to try you can use this as a starting point.

Edit: lol if you got this thread closed before I was able to post this I'd have been so pissed :wacky:

Oh, I already have settled on the one SaShman did, but thanks for doing that though, I appreciate the thought. :monster: The brightness is reduced more effectively on this, the the purple is more noticeable, but very good job on it nonetheless. ;)

Not really, it looks really good if not for that purple still on it, if you could leave it as is aside from the purple areas, removing those, it would be perfect. ;;) And maybe make near and right at the tip of the tail less bright.

Though I doubt I should be uploading a second pic, even if I get one more perfected than the one already used. :hmmm:

Oh. Well if it's already so perfect then I'm good with not trying. I was under the impression you wanted a lot of the lighting reduced, whereas the one the other person submitted, to me, tbh, looked exactly the same. -shrug-

Ergo, I gave it a shot. But never mind.

You can work on it more if you want, the lighting is great, but the purple highlighted areas on it still stick out like a sore thumb. xD Sorry, I'm just being a perfectionist about it, especially picky about it. <.<

Nah I'm good. You're sticking with the other one anyway, and I guess I just read the thread wrong cause it looked like you were still asking people..

Sorry if I wasn't clear about it, didn't mean to mislead you, but I did +rep ya earlier for doing that pic, so it wasn't for nothing, hope you don't still feel that way, I do appreciate it.

I just already have that one SaShman did uploaded, and uploading another all over again would make for two, and that is unnecessary clutter. :P

No problem, just my way of showing appreciation for you taking the time to do that, and putting the effort into it, sometimes words aren't enough. xD
