References to other Final Fantasy games [Minor Spoilers]

I think I have spotted them all since I've replayed the game like 2-3 times now, but I wont go into detail about the ones I've discovered, minus the obvious ones (Chaos being a reference to Garland, The Airships being named after previous Summons, Tonberry being the code name for the boss encounter w/ Reks, etc. etc.).

I know Galuf-Val (Galuf being one of the main charactes from FFV) was given near the end of the game, it was one of the carrier ships taken down by the Bahamut.

The 2 security guards in Nalbina Fortress, Gibbs and Deweg are Biggs and Wedge.

I have noticed all these and to me this game reminds me a lot of FF Tactics. There both in the world Ivalice, they both have judges, and they both are chapters of a book and are read by a guy between some scenes.

I probably talked to those guys on and never realized it... and when I play an RPG I always talk to every NPC before I move on D:

Also the esper Exodus is a tribute to Exdeath, main villain of FFV.

Gilgamesh is back again too. And even though I haven't finished it yet, I've heard that the last boss looks like a mechanical version of Sephiroth?

Though I will say this, The Final Form does use the following attacks:

MegaFlare
Gigaflare Sword (was it? bah)

and other Flare names that I forgot but I know their from previous FF games I don't think Shadow Flare is there though, lol.

Pandaemonium is back but it a monster in FF XII instead of a castle or place or whatever else it was.

Yeah Pandaemonium is where Garland resides on Terra (FFIX).

Just found out that the Esper, Mateus is also the name of the Final Fantasy II antagonist Emperor Mateus Palamecia.
