non-whites (not racist) have been oppressed by whites (not racist) since forever. but now that we live in a more "civilised" society it doesnt happen nearly so much. black pride day is probably something along the lines of "your great great great great grandfather took my great great great great grandfather from africa to be a slave in america. he was beaten and whipped and was probably treated worse than his master's dog. but now i am here and i am black and i can do all the things you can do. fuck you whitey" etc. i dont find it particularly racist. its quite a strange thing to take pride in i suppose.
