Crisis Core question!

What ever happened to Cisnei, (pardon the spelling) in crisis core? Cause I havnet seen here anywhere except that game. Did she die or something? Also, at the end of the game, she said something about Zack not knowing her real name. FF7's plot is so convoluded. In a good way of course. :busta: BOOYAH! post 2! Sianara.

I don't actually think she was planned for in the original game, so she's obviously not in it. She was a plot extender for Crisis Core, and she has no reason to be in DoC, at least, because she doesn't know Cloud & co. She could have been a Turk in AC, but... I assume she left Shinra after everything with Zack.

She IS in Before Crisis, if I'm correct. As Shuriken, though.
 
As for the whole name thing, it's because the player can rename her in that mobile game I beleive, it stumped me for a while as well, there were all sorts of theories that she could be Jesse or some shit, but as it is, its because I think she can be renamed in that game and that's it. Stupid bleeding thing to have mentioned because I imagine it had loads of people scratching their heads -__-
 
Yeah, I thought she was Elena or something at first. o_O
But what Bambi said sounds plausible, I'll go with that
 
As Charlotte Haze said, she wasnt planned for the original game. She was known as Shuriken in before crisis and thus was able to be in Crisis Core which takes place before FFVII. Who knows what may have happened to her? She may have left the Turks after what happened. Or maybe she will appear in a future game, although I highly doubt it.
 
Uhm, she's not Elena 8F Why would she change her name? Plus... Elena and Cissnei are both in Before Crisis, if I'm not mistaken... I think they might even be sisters =/

From the FF Wiki: "Shuriken (Female), real name chosen by the player, is a playable Turk in Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII- and appears in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- under the name Cissnei (シスネ Shisune), which she admits is not her real name." I know Wiki's aren't the best source, but for something like this... xD

Elena also has a big role in BC, so .... not Cissnei XD

I think that's why people thought it was Elena, I thought so because I never played BC or even looked up the story because I'd rather to have played it.
 
Apart from the ambiguous fate of Cissnei after Crisis Core, I do wish that she could have been explored more in the game as a character. She has told us she was raised in Shinra, but that's just broad. There is also her supposed feelings for Zack. I do believe that she harbours feelings for Zack, but the game doesn't go into it much at all. If the producers decided to do another love triangle such as the TifaxCloudxAerith one, it was a rather lame performance.

I assume people just think Cissnei is Elena at first because they're both female Turks. I personally prefer it if Cissnei replaces Elena in FFVII.
 
I thought in her final cut scene with Zack she said something about quitting The Turks? Or am I making this up in my head?

And yeah, the "not my real name" thing was solely based on the fact that she can be named anything in BC. BC before CC except after C. They didn't get ballsy with her like they did Tidus.

I don't recall her saying anything like that. It's the cutscene at Gongaga you're referring to, right? I recall Cissnei telling Zack that after 10 minutes she'll be returning to the Turks. I think people assume she intends to leave the Turks is because firstly she seems to question her mission of eliminating Zack- and secondly, she doesn't appear in VII.
 
Cissnei?

Just confused here and all, I know Cissnei was in Crisis Core and Before Crisis...but what happened to her in VII? Did she retire, die? She wasn't mentioned in VII either, so it leaves me wondering to...does anyone know what happened to her after CC?
 
She wasn't in VII, seeing as VII was out before the spin offs and she wasn't even thought of as a character so any explanation to her whereabouts in FFVII just wouldn't exist because SHE didnt exist at the time of creation, she was a completely new character added into the spin offs, tbh, I don't think it was thought about really well, the creators would of know that she was a big character in CC and people would have wondered why just just seemingly dissapeared, they should have explained in CC why she was never gunna appear again because we all know she wasn't in VII =/

The spin offs created more plot holes than they solved I think ¬_¬
 
I bet she heard about Zack's untimely death and left Shinra to pursue a life of her own, really. Kelly's right when she says about it creating more plot holes. I did like the game and storyline, but I can't get over the confusion that is Cissnei either. People say she was Jessie from AVALANCHE. Though I'd think if she were, then she'd be more skilled than what we saw of THAT Jessie. Even so, there are many possibilities about what happened to her. We just don't know yet.
 
Thanks for your opinions! I guess it did create more plot holes because ever since I finished CC I was like, "o_O She wasn't in FFVII..."
