PS3 losing exclusives?

I just recently purchased a PS3 a while back and have yet to find a game that is worth what i paid for it. Some of the games that had got me hyped for the PS3 are no longer exclusive to the console. What gives sony? I'm suppose to pay $200 more on your console when the other guys have the same games!! So far sony has lost Virtua fighter 5, Assasins Creed, RE 5, and GTA 5. I also heard a rumor that MGS 4 might head to 360 after the PS3 release. Hopefully this doesn't happen :(

Do you feel ripped off like i do?

I see your point here. However, just remember that PS2 games are still being made at the moment until the whole world has the PS3. It still has yet to be released in the rest of the world that isn't America or Japan. But mind you, I actually do wonder myself if there will be anymore PS3 games when it's been released worldwide.
 
I wouldn't worry too much only 3 months into a consoles lifespan, the PS3 would get it's own fair share of exclusives eventually.

Although I do have to wonder at why you bloody bought the thing in the first place if there wasn't anything you wanted on it. Apart from VF5 then Assassin's Creed, GTA4 and Resi 5 were confirmed for the 360 months ago so you've only got yourself to blame really.
 
I'll be getting the PS3 as soon as it's released in lil' ol' England ... regardless of what games are available at the time ... I'm such a Sony loyalist. ^_^

Give the PS3 time. I have some friends who own Xbox 360's and I've been very impressed, but although the PS3 is taking a while to get into gear, it will be sprinting by the finish line. :)

I bought it becuase of FFXIII and MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots. I guess i just fell for the hype and made a impulse buy, but hey its only been 3 months.
 
I always wait until the games I really want are out. The games I want could turn out to be the next Unlimited SaGas or something. And really, after three months you can't really judge a console. I'll judge after a year or two.

everyone knows nintendo with the wii is the way to go

with the wii's great lineup of games awsome controller why wouldn't you choose it.

unless you want to pay over 600 dollars for a lame system

gameplay over graphics =D

Your post isn't any better. I love Nintendo as much as anybody but they're not perfect.
 
well i have a Ps3, sony has lost exculsives, no doubt. Some of the exculsives though, have stayed. Sony, hopefully has more exclusives in later months so they can make more profits
 
The big ones like MGS4 and FFXIII still remain which is a good sign. At least we get some of the other guys exclusives like oblivion for 360.
 
i wouldn't judge too quickly about the ps3 losing exclusives, but i am disappointed that they have lost the ones they had. but, i hope that more exclusives will come out in the future.

one of the sony's strong points was the games that they had, hopefully they don't lose that market.
 
No way in Hell MGS4 nor FFXIII will come to the 360, these games are taking advantage of the cell and blu-ray so is just not possible

Listen you little brat, until the Gamecube 1.3 with a tv controller that you used to call the Nintendo's Revolution start getting some real games, you know like AAA ones, and some more deph gameplay, not just that gimmick tv controller thing, I'll say it is the worse console so far, they totally forgot about gamers, now they are targeting non-gamers.

And Gameplay is not > than graphics, actually both elements go on hand, Better processors not just give you better graphics, they give you better phisics, better AI, more explorable and interactive and destructive enviroment, I hate when you stupid wii fanboys start talking all that bullshit of the wii is fun and stuff, like if the 360 and PS3 weren't and didn't have good games, give me a breath

Oh and by the way, my wii is bigger than your wii

I'd not even going to get the PS3 this early on. I'll probably spend around a year glued to my computer screen, awaiting news on interesting games I could get for it. As soon as there's a few games which catch my eye on retail, I'll be purchasing those, plus the PS3. I'm just not all too keen on buying something which is probably riddled with faults.

the line i made bold was unneccesary... very unneccesary

anyway... can't really say much on this, i don't have a PS3 myself, however, does it really matter that much there are less "exclusives"? more space for other games, and perhaps better games i'd think

I saw this coming, and bought a wii instead. =]

I'll but the PS3 at half the price when FFXIII comes out. =]
 
i dont really like the wii either
theres only a few decent games coming out for ps3 but at least its region free so i can import american and japan games

On another day I would have ripped you apart for a post like that, the comments of the poster you quoted was a blatant fanboy statement but throwing crap like that back isn't very constructive or helpful to the topic in any way.
