The question
Just out of curiosity, (and this question is aimed at those of you graphic-compatible members). How many of you would be willing to put your skills to work on forum projects such as working on new forum tags, .Gifs, buttons, artwork and other forum perks?

I really think that it would be a wonderful idea to have a team of handy graphic designers here at FFF to help perk up the forums with a little graphic enhancement.




The idea
The idea came to me after I realized that not too many members are interested in participating in forum competitions. I thought that perhaps a gil reward would suffice as a good enough contribution to the winners. But alas, that's just not fun enough. I think that perhaps (all of us) would have more motivation on participating in forum events if there was a fun and creative reward for our efforts. That's right. A cute little noteworthy reward (like a ribbon or a small insignia) right on your member profile.

The boundaries of the graphical competitions are just limited to SoTW so I agree fully. This has to be a great way of getting the graphically talented members to contribute much more than they already are.

I'd like to volunteer but I have no idea how to create buttons and stuff. D:

I also agree that that ribbon prize or whatever it'll be is a good incentive. *nod*

Hmm. Maybe you could slap on a freind of FFF star while you're at it? It's essentially donating to the site. Maybe you could also give them either the special ribbon or icon, or maybe 2 custom RPG items, if they want that over a signature image, or already have everything else?
 
How tf is this suggestion related to "Site Staff"?

I wouldn't mine throwing a few forum tags and buttons in. I've certainly got enough FF stocks :monster:


As payment though, I expect every member of staff to send me a Vincent related item :wacky: <----.....heh

For those of you who are interested, just keep an eye out and I'll fill you in on special "application" updates if the plan does follow through with the new admins in due time. =]
 
I'd certainly be willing to help out. I've been making sigs for 2 years or so, and I'm still looking for new things to try out. And I'll be able to work fast very soon! *still needs to install Photoshop on her dad's old laptop*
