Yes, I typed "Pokéman."

Did you rename your Pokémans? If so, what to? Any particular reason(s)?

I have a habit of only lowering their case, with the exception of the first character. It just stops them looking so damn tacky. It's very rare that I change the name of a Pokéman. I'm just a grammar/punctuation freak. D'=

Shit Box, Fucker, Shitty, any profanity really, if it fit is what i named those little guys

^ how charming....

and i rarely rename them - but i do what you do saix -but i wait until they hit there final evolution otherwise youd have to change their nicknames 3 times :dry:

I tend to power train, so by the time I'm able to change their names they're fully evolved anyway. xD Well, most of them.

This is why non-evolution Pokémans rawk. :cool:

Yes, I'm guilty of renaming mine after various FF summons (i.e. a fire pokeman was Ifrit etc.) I don't know what possesed me that day, but I did it. And then I'd always call the rival "Gay" or something like that, then Prof. Oak would say "Oh yes, I remember now, he's Gay" xD
God I need to grow up

I gave the following pokemon these nicknames:

Zapdos = Zap Drake
Articuno = Ice Drake
Moltres = Burn Drake
Palkia = WaterDrake
Giratina = GhostDrake
Ninetails = Kyubi

I named a few of them some childish names.

I named likitounge "Dumbass"

And Moltres "FlameBitch"

And Mewtwo "Sociopath"

And Charizard "Mother Fucker"

Oh and Pikachu "Dipshit"

And I named the rival "Ho"

or "Fagwad"

And I named myself

"James Bond"

or

"Ct. Poopy"

or

"Goku" (yes I did).

Uh yeah they were meant to be Un-original.

Please don't double post in the future. Just go back and edit your posts from now on.

Thank you ^^

Hmm, good thinking David, I never thought of that. I'll have to do that once I am training my team on Pearl/Diamond.

"Training my team"....how delightfully campy.

Pokemon Yellow

Pikachu--Minako after sailer venus
Charmender---Hector after hector prince of troy
Squartlle---Roma ---after the soccer club AS Roma
Bulbasaur--Juve--after the soccer club Juventus
pidgioto--mog--after the mognet
psyduck--Anuja--After my lil sister

I always get annoyed when I trade for a pokemon that has a nickname. I can never change it. Ghey. ><

Speaking of; I always named my to-be traded Pokémon something stupid, like 'poo.' Nothing they can do about it, and I get a cheap laugh out of my friend training a poo.

=D

Regigigas= The King
Cresselia= The Queen
Giratina= The Jack
Heatran= The Ten

I'm hoping to transfer over a Mewtwo with Skill Swap soon, which I'm going to nickname The Ace. I'm not sure about The Joker, maybe Arceus if it's ever released.

Ninetails = Kyubi

That's actually what Ninetails is called in Japanese.

I rarely rename my pokemon. The only times I do it is when their original names are too long or are slightly difficult to pronounce. EX. Staravia(I think) was renamed Star. Short yet noticable.

I never give my pokemon nicknames. Far too tacky for my taste...

I NEVER trade with trainers in the game due to the crappy nicknames. I'll never forget the turd from Vermillion City who trades a Farfetch'd for a Spearow. Damn thing is named Dux. Blech...

So yeah...no nicknames for me.
