I did a search for this but didn't find anything so I decided to post it. What is the longest time you have spent on one FF game getting all those extra stuff in just one playthrough. For me it would be my 230 hours FFX game.
 
im on about 130 hours for ffx, but im SURE ive spent longer on FFXII, about 160 hours maybe, alot of tht was leaving thwe control pad idle through boredom though, so id say even though my hours on X were less, ive probably dedicated more time to it with all the training and shit

XII will take over for sure though once I get back round to it and start training
 
A lot of the old FF games cap out at 99:59:59 so its hard to say. I know I've probally spent more time in FF7 getting Cloud, Yuffie, and Cid's Stats to 255. Also obtaining 8 master magics, 16 master commands, 8 master summons and also mastering every materia again incase I want to use then later.

Since though FF10 started the exact time and didn't cap off I got more of an opinion. 'd have to say FF12. I got like 169 hours or so.
 
I never really spend alot of times on games, normally i complete them and throw them into the game draw in my room and leave them alone for a few months and then complete them again.

In my current playthrough of FFXII i have been playing some 45 hours and i am haven't completed the Pharos yet, i am going through the area's using Reddas in my party to aid my Side Quests and hunts atm, nothing all that interesting really, just screwing about in the area's doing quests like the Phon hunt club and the Hunts for Gilgamesh and stuff like that (only done the first Gilgamesh battle, got raped the second time need better armour and weapons.)
 
In FFXII i got 250 hours (one is save is 110 hours and my replay is 150hours), and my second longest is ffx which i got 80 hours.
 
i think i clocked in at 136 hrs in FFX. my longest. i might've beaten that with XII though. not sure. i'll have to check.
 
I've spent more hours than I'd ever know for FF7. MATERIA GRINDAN GRINDAN GRINDAN.

Though I know I have over 100 hours in 8, too.

The only game time I can just about acurately remember is XII's, which is 130 hours.
 
Is it in a single attempt or altogether? Cause I remembered the first time I played X it was something like 60 hours. But then I went back a second time to get all the aeons, the weapons and fight the dark aeons, complete the sidequests etc and it was another 70++ hours of grinding. So if you add that up it's be about 130 hours? Haha crazy

In a single attempt, it would be too much to count all the times when you have played through a game. Like I have player FFVII through over 20 times with like 50+ hours each... :P
 
I think it was like 90-ish hours in FFXII. Trouble is, I have a habit of leaving the game on and walking away, so I don't know how much of that was me actually playing.
 
200+ hours in ffix. huge most of it is training marcus to level 99.
nice that ps1 didnt melt down like new consoles do these days...
 
Im not sure exactly but i think probadly around 70 hours on FFX. That was playin blitzball, ggettin celestial weapons and levelling up all my characters. I never got the game to 100% i got bored after that many hours.
