Cloti's and Clerith's need to take a lesson from Angel Valentine.
She loves VincentxTifa. She doesn't care that it's not cannon nor does she go around in condencending debates proclaiming that it is. No she loves them as a couple and doesn't need SE to canonize them in order to enjoy them.
Guess what, if Square is ever to come out and say that either Clerith or Cloti is canon and you don't like that pairing, guess what, you can still like the one that isn't canon. There's a wonderful thing called fanon which in some cases, is more enjoyable than the canon.
Squall and Rinoa are canon, but if I so wish, I can rewrite the ending in my head in which they break up about a week later after VIII ends. XD Not that I ever actually ever do that because I'm rather indifferent towards the pairing.
So yeah, the anti sigs suck. They do nothing but split the fanon apart, often cause unnecessary drama, mostly used because the person is waaaaaaaay into the fandom and has no life other wise and feel that everyone should think the way they do, or just in general to piss people off.
By the way, I go for the Cloud and Yuffie date at the GS so I can imagine Aerith and Tifa involved in some hot lesbian action while those two are out.
