Photoshop Meddlings

Made this one when I was bored, and chose to do this than my homework -

I didn't save the PSD file though, so I can't make any edits to it D:

This one is a first attempt, I'm not happy with it so I'll be going back to the PSD file and changing everything <_<

Those last two - The Android 18 and Judge Ghis ones - were two I tried to do without using a tutorial, so I had NO idea wtf I was doing :lol:
 
Aerith your Sig's are great !!! i really love the toon Ashe&Penelo can you give me the link where you found them please??? and about the red lightning version i think that it's a lttle bit blurry (no mean to offense you!!!) that's how i see it !!! but you have great & awesome work ever thought of making a colored doublecast? and some Kh sig's?
Hope you can give me the Toon Ashe & Penelo ^^
 
The stock needs some blending. Maybe you can try blurring the edges a bit to create depth, or you can try to duplicate the stock like 10 times, and then smudge the bottom ones a bit. As for the top stock, just erase the edges a bit with maybe a 1px brush.

This is the most recent signature I've made, and I'd like to think it's one of my best ^_^

Edit - Julius, yeah the Lightning sig you quoted was when I tried using a stock instead of a render.

Didn't work too well xD
 
I think you need to add a bright light source on the forehead there, and darken up the background by putting in a lighting effect to it.

I assume (and make myself an ass in the process), that you use the plastic thingy effect to make it look that way? Sorry, but my Photoshop is in Spanish and most of my sigs are born out of being bored. So I am still a nOOb when it comes to Photoshop talk -_-
 
No, I didn't use the plastic effect - but I can see where your coming from when you say that. I just used a few C4Ds and mixed them with some gradient maps and what-not.
 
Ok, yeah, would you believe me if I tell you that I got half of that message and understood it?

Anyway, as for the fiery girl sig *the one with the lightning sig sets*, I think the image of her looks a bit out of place. Like something is missing in that fire....

I really like that one a lot. Is that...Saber from Fate Stay Night? It looks like her...and the outfit too. Anyway, I like how you did the background colors.

Gohan one's pretty cool too. Haha, we used the same stock. ;)
 
Thanks Mitsuki ^_^ and the girl in the stock is Agrias Oaks, from FFT.

I won't be able to update this thread for awhile though, since I'll have to redownload photoshop on my new PC since the old one died D:
