I think this game is going to be great. I would like to know more about Vincent and his past along with the new characters. (Spolier) Also Gackt is in the secret ending!!!! So awesome....
 
I'm lookin' forward to Dirge of Cerberus. It looks fun and since I get to play as Vincent, I wouldn't want to miss out on all the action.

Vincent. Kickass. Awesome.

Yep, there I said it! I looked at the preview from Advent Children and I was like "... wow!" And then I just wanted to yell: "HELL YEAH! I WANT THIS GAME SO MUCH THAT I MIGHT WANT IT MORE THAN KH2!"

This game is Vincent. He's cool.

This game is kickass. Guns!

This game is awesome. Reasons above.

I simply cannot wait for this game, it's incredible.
 
I'm gonna keep an opened mind about it. I'm not gonna expect it to satisfy me like a proper FF would but hopefully it will be worth playing. Abit concerned about the storyline tho from what I've heared.

Never get your hopes up too high, you are hoping for substance in this game as well, not just Vincent?
 
I liked the game a lot, but because I have the Japanese version, I just didn't get anything of the story and I stopped playing it waiting for the English version to be out in my city...
 
I think it looks amazing.

And gorgeously graphic-ized! :eek: How far the world has come from Final Fantasy VII graphics.

I really would like to delve deeper into Vincent's past. It looks very...Dark. No, really. xD He's got quite an interesting character, and I would absolutely love to play as him. Guns are fun. Not to mention Vincent is one of my favorite characters in Final Fantasy VII. Besides Aerith, of course.

The only thing I can't tell is the gameplay. I think it should be quite fun, but as it isn't out here yet, I shall have to wait. All I want is a great story, smooth gameplay, great graphics, fun, and guns. :D

Well, I am looking for a good story as well. I want a good story and good gameplay. I've already seen the gameplay in the preview, so that is pretty cool. But it's always a good story that makes a good game, too. Besides, it's time for Cloud to move over. Vincent needs his own story now!
 
I hate to be the "n00b that posts about the topic title and not the current conversation", but I'm going to right now. >_<

The game looks good. I've seen screens and trailers of cinematics and gameplay. The gameplay looks solid and the visuals are stunning. This will be one of the last games for the PS2 so it had better be worth playing. We'll be able to find out soon, though because the release date is October 17th, I believe.
 
The game reviews I've been reading say its a load of Bull, i cant help but think that myself when looking at the screenshots, I just think its a waste of time, a easy money-maker because nearly everyone loves Vincent.
 
Thought they said 22nd *shrug* anyways I HOPE this game is good.
The whole shooter thing and you playing as the darker character brings me to remember the whole Shadow The Hedgehog ordeal. Oh god no!
I hope Square does not do with Dirge Of Ceberus what they did to Shadow The Hedgehog. My god. That game made me lose respect for sega...that it did.
