You know, they always say that making a good first impression is the most important thing a person could do. I could never figure out why, nor could I figure out who exactly "they" were. Ehh, no matter. I'll just wing it!

Hi. I'm a long time Final Fantasy fan/enthusiast who began his love affair with the series way back in that wacky, magical decade called the 90's. Those Nintendo Final Fantasies still hold a special place in my heart, and that probably explains why Final Fantasy VI is my favorite game in the series.

Anywho, I'm 26 years old. Yep, I'm an old man. So, if anyone annoys me, I'll whack you with my walker and then go complain to my fellow geriatrics about the youth of today while we all watch Matlock or something. Hah. Seriously though, I'm a 26 self-admitted political nerd that loves to talk about the oddities and curiosities of pop culture. Oh and I love the Final Fantasy games very much. It's why I had to join this forum, as the allure of it was too strong to resist!

I've rambled on for long enough, so I'll stop here before I begin meandering. So, hello everyone! Let's all party...
 
I have not played the early FF games, but I want to get around to it sometime.

Ooh, I hope that you do. Those early ones are amazing, in my estimation. I'll cross my fingers that you enjoy them as much as I do if you ever get a chance to play them.

That it is, and thank you! I recently converted to being awesome a few weeks ago, and it's paying off nicely. ;) Haha thank you again, and interesting is my middle name. The Interesting Joker... Yeah, my parents apparently hated me for giving me THAT name.

Indeed, us old timers may be getting older, but that just means we're getting better. I read that in a fortune cookie or something. I see that your name is Ness... an Earthbound fan I take it? I absolutely love that game.

You know, I didn't think 26 was old either. Then I realized that I am turning 30 in less than 4 years. Then I started weeping uncontrollably for a good long while.

That I did, and I agree about its overlooked status. I love VII, but everyone focuses on that while sadly ignoring the greatness of VI. Boo I say, boo.
