ok i have been noticing this for weeks but kept forgetting to mention it to the staff of the rpg i have recently been talking to Julius about it but the rpg hates 2 weapon fighting.
look the best attack form for 2 weapon fighters is this.
str +40%
def - 10%
dex -10%

while the two hand fighters have this
str +100%
def + 10%
spd +10%
dex + 50%

and the rest of the warriors get this.
str + 100%
def - 20%
dex + 40%
eva -10%

now if the person was to use 2 weapons with the 2 weapon fighting style here is what happens.
str + 96%
def - 21%
dex - 21%
at my stats that means that i lose 42 points of dex meaning that even a caviler can dodge my attacks easily.

But have you counted that Berserk and Imbune add a significant amount of DEX, even if used individually? As I have stated numerous times, dual wield grants twice the attack per turn, twice the ADR obtained and thus twice the Attack Type effect and the damage dealt.

Also, I haven't seen anyone else complaining about the matter.

To be honest, D'lain, I am really tired of this complaining. Dual Weld makes things too easy for warriors. So we are making attack types to encourage Single Weld.

That is the last I have to say on the subject.

yes i know but as inferno has stated each weapon class has it's own advantages like t handed weapons they get double damage and the def is added single handed but not 2 handed gives def from the weapon and the other item in the person's hand and the only thing 2 weapon gets is 2 attacks yea they have more chance to hit but by reducing the dex of the character to where they can't even hit makes it the least favorable weapon in the entire game furthermore everyone else don't complain because they are either going to the two handed weapons which now can deal 4 times the damage as a normal weapon and also adds def which makes them to where if someone was using one they could easily hit high damage. all i am asking is that you just change the dex modifier on attack of the warrior so that people could choose to go 2 weapon and not be killed easily by people ten levels below them. as for imbune and berserk i have little time to raise them and they do little for me because i have no mage affiliation like the other people and those who use 2 weapons are going against enemies with under 60 in eva or have a good mag stat and arcane stat which allows them to cast stuff like imbune heck i had to get ttk to enchant my weapons because i don't have a high enough arcane and also if i was to switch to two handed weapons i would be dealing in the 5000s every turn because i would hit enough and knock enemies out every turn so as you can see it is max 300 compared to max 5000 not fair at all.
wow that is a record maybe i could write a book.

Just feel the need to comment here:

We just make *suggestions* on how to use different weapon classes :) So your "inferno says" comment isn't really accurate.

Secondly, the guys have got a good system here, especially in regards to when elements become available, because having two weapons means you get the bonus each gives you.

Remember to take into account stuff like enchantments etc, =)

Ok, your saying that we should put the Dex up for them back to normal instead of decreasing it. If i can understand what your typing here. Now, if we do that, the shortswords will do over 1000 damage each, and then the 2 handed weapon will only do 1000. Obivously, everyone will be using dual wield seeing as they are more powerful. Now, if its kept the same, all things are equal. As long as you use imbune (which you cant cause you were foolish enough not to raise your MP) then you will be perfectly fine in battles. Its not our fault that you decided not to increase your magic or MP, thats your own fault. I guess now, as you level, you will have to increase these 2 skills.

well imbune isn't a help when you don't even get it to stay on for you to use it's effect.

I think what people are trying to hint at is that there are drawbacks to every character. My character's drawback is that he relies on MP, and if the enemy has high DEX and/or MAG DEF, then I'm doomed. The drawback of your character is his reliance on physical attacks, so you'll have to work on making him more balanced in order to have that 'class' work for you.

I think dual-wield is silly, anyway. Single-wield is ftw. :updown:

well if i was to go single weapon i could no doubt destroy everyone here because i would get my str up too high.

Then if you're so good with that, then why not just stick with single-wield and forget about dual-wield?

because i am not the only one who uses 2 weapons and i really don't like change.

Dlain, All the weapons are equal. Stop complaining. I don't see a reason for this to stay open. We have told you why and you obviously don't get it. If you don't like it, then too bad. The weapons are equal in stature so that is how it is.
