NieR Gestalt, NieR Replicant - 37 New Images [1/23]

Remember: the ones with the big, oafy, white-haired guy are screens of NieR Gestalt (Xbox 360), which is coming out in North America as NieR. The ones with the other guy are of NieR Replicant (PS3), which is currently only announced for release in Japan.

These girls below are not the same character, but twins. The left girl is “Deboru” and the right one is “Boboru.” They’re of similar looks but opposite personalities, and Boboru is the town librarian of Nier, but Deboru is very expressive and open, enjoying singing in public.

Aha! Just what I needed! It doesn't look too bad IMO-- although i've seen better graphics. It reminds me of a game but I can't put my finger on it >.> I'm glad you posted these I wanted an update so thanks! Maybe it won't be a bad game... I'll make my decision soon enough xP have to play it first though

Hmm, it doesn't look too bad actually. The towns there give me that Last Remnant vibe in terms of the style. I'm glad that there will be bright, colourful environments because lately, games have been overusing browns and greys. I prefer some variation of colour- it really does help make a game more appealing to me.

The character art is also pretty as always. I'm not sure who it is at the moment though. As always when I see Nier screens, I commend the weird yet imaginative and unconventional looking monster designs.

Oh yes, I can see the distinguishing faces of the two. Boburo definitely looks more shy and less assertive than her twin sister.

I've never seen many twins with opposite personalities though. Also, wouldn't you love it if in real life, twins actually have names that seem to rhyme with each other?

To be honest, Im not sure what to think. Yeah it looks ok I guess, but they dont excite me, not make me wanna run out and get it.
